Ulta Beauty

I've been to a number of different Ultas. I have one that's less than a mile from my house. But, I drive the 7.5 miles to this location because the staff is actually nice. And helpful!

I really appreciate good customer service and a friendly demeanor. I really wish I got the name of the manager; she's blonde and wears glasses. She went above and beyond to help me. And, with such a wonderful attitude!

Idk if I reviewed the other locations. I guess I should check lol. For now, this is my favorite Ulta around.

I have came to this Ulta before a couple of times when I'm near the Anaheim plaza. Today, I got the Tarte shape tape concealer since it was on sale for only $22.40 since their original price was $32. I only paid $17 since I had my Ulta gift card & the 20% off coupon received in the mail which was a good steal. The service was fast & employee is very nice and friendly even helping me get the makeup item I need. The store is well organized, very clean, and spacious. There is plenty of parking. I would definitely come back here if I'm near Anaheim.

Found what I needed!

I hate when sales people are pushy. I came in to the store already knowing what I wanted. I walked straight over to the IT Cosmetics and started sampling the lightest color. As I'm smearing it, a sales person comes over and says "I know of a great primer and moisturizer for rosacea." Uhhh okay thanks for the diagnosis. I do have rosacea and I'm prescribed lots of medications for that from my dermatologist. I just came for a daily CC cream to even out skin tone and provide SPF (since I'm a pale vampire and need the protect from the sun). She then brings over some random products from Japanese and shows me how it reduces redness. In my head I'm like lady, do you not realize that I have eyes and can see that it did nothing for the redness. It simply put some slimy crap on my skin that would most likely cause my skin to react. No thanks.

I ended up buying what I came for and I love it! The CC cream by IT Cosmetics is perfect! It's lightweight and has ingredients that are good for my skin. I didn't have any reaction to wearing it. Total win! 10/10

Lilly who was working for Lancôme was very helpful and nice she helped me find my foundation shade and also showed me a Lancôme foundation that I liked I was given a sample to try at home I might just come back to get it !:)

Customer service was great. I came here to buy my purple shampoo. Everyone was helpful.

Never have I experienced such poor customer service as I did today at this Ulta in Anaheim. I waited in line for almost 10 minutes while Alizay typed away on her phone. Before this I could tell the customer ahead of me was already frustrated with her and I see why. Not once, did she say "I'll be right with you, or thanks for waiting" just completely ignored me and the 3 other ladies waiting in line. I came in looking for my shape tape concealer and it says "3 free minis with purchased of full-size shape tape" it even has it printed on the box itself. She gave me the most difficult time even after I showed her on the box and that it was listed on the sign. She still wasn't acknowledging me and kept cutting me off to speak into her walkie. She then proceeded to call her manager whose mind was buffering just as slow as hers to find the sign and look up a code. She was apprehensive to let me leave with the "free items" as she's talking to her manager on her walkie saying "she's already leaving with it". Thank God another associate easily checked me out and was quick in getting me my free mini items, I spent more than $100. Safe to say, I won't be coming back to the Ulta where time actually stands still for these workers.

Did not feel welcome by any employee. I mentioned that one of the displays looked crooked and narrowed the space between it and where the checkout line was supposed to be (honestly looks like a fire hazard), was dismissed with "it's always been there"

I have not dyed my hair for 8 years and I finally decided to do something different and go from black to honey color . Allie Mae did an awesome job with my hair ! I love it. She had the patience to go over options / recommendations , took the time to explain the process thoroughly and gave me all the after care instructions . She is such a happy soul with the the coolest vibes!

I have been getting my hair cut/done by stylist Karla G. for so many years, now. I will follow my girl wherever she goes. So precise with the scissors, so careful and attentive to give you exactly what you ask for, AND great at suggesting what to do with your hair if you don't know what to ask for.

Hair sessions with Karla are like therapy sessions; and then you get to leave the salon feeling gorgeous and great. Apart from her cutting skills, she is amazing with hair color. I highly recommend her.
