About the Business
Urology Specialists of the Carolinas was formed in 1986 when two of the region's most respected Urology practices, Hawes Urology and Charlotte Urology, merged. For over 30 years, Urology Specialists has served Charlotte and surrounding areas with comprehensive, compassionate Urology care. All of our physicians are board-certified by the American Board of Urology. Trained at some of the nation's finest medical schools and teaching hospitals, our Urologists are trained in the latest treatments and procedures to help you with whatever urological problem you may be experiencing. But our goal goes beyond education and reaches to a more personal level. We strive for compassion and understanding. Not as providers required to see a certain number of patients each day, but as physician-surgeons seeking to build relationships with our patients.

So my husband is a patient of Dr. Rhee's.
The only issue is the front desk person who always gives my husband a hard time. Now, I worked the front desk for over 25 years and everyone has a bad day. But to cop an attitude to the same patient who has done nothing but follow the rules of the office is disconcerting. He arrived 5 minutes late and she said he was suppose to be there 15 min earlier. Nowhere on his reminders did it mention that he needed to be there early. Again he received attitude. He also received attitude from one of the nurses/MA's on his very first visit. What type of office are you trying to run that makes a patient not want to return. If the doctor wasn't good it would be a different story. Believe me we rather be with Novant but since Novant doesn't have a urologist here we are.
So to whoever from the office is reading this, give your office staff a talking to about the treatment of their patients. I know I've worked in a doctor's office so suck it up and be nice to people.
What happens it that you will get attitude back and you won't like it.
The front office is always the first impression of a successful business.
Took a star off for the poor staff. We are all overworked and underpaid. Don't like it get a new job!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Donna B.Concord, NC020Dec 27, 2024
I would like to give no star: Dr. Mills is the worse not to mention that Carol PA that likes to bled your pockets Provider talked with his eyes shut looking at the floor argued with a ct report . Months later still dealing with the stone, All they wanted to do is run up my charges by doing unnecessary ultrasounds and procedures . Stay away from this place!! My mistake diffiently not the place I wanna be. Found a diffrent practice and a new doctor. Also the new provider would like to do a test for the stones prior to me taking anything Dr. Mills prescribed. Finally I am feeling better once I left Urology of the Carolinas . Be ware of this practice. Type of care not good, quality of care awful, office staff beats the dollar out of you.
