Came in for a phone upgrade and came out with the upgrade and home internet. The service is great and the speed of service is up to par for my needs. Location is great and ample space.

Dec 25, 2021Previous reviewOne of the first times I've visited a Verizon store and I have to admit, I was rather pleased.
When I first walked in, it looked like it was going to be a long wait since everyone was helping current customers and there was a wait of folks who were waiting to be helped. To my surprise, one of the employees greeted me and asked me for the purpose of my visit. He was still helping someone but took the time to recognize that I was there and why and let me know that I would be helped shortly. Sometime is just the act of being recognized that goes a long way.
Once someone was freed up, I was on my way to getting helped out. I was in and out within 30 minutes, signed up for new service, received my phone and I was out. All the employees were courteous and helpful. - Jan 3, 2022
Verizon or AT&T, both sleazy. These are used car dealers, but with phones. "Industry Standard" - from a twenty four year old. Get lost, You all suck.
It's the same principal as the kuerig; the cost of Your morning coffee just increases by a multiple of 10.

We walked in , no one waiting , 4 employees just sitting around, we asked for help , they just kept talking said they'd be with us in a minute . 20 min later they were still talking with each other so we walked out and went to T-Mobile

Walked in at 420pm, was told there's was a 45 minute wait. I waited... it's now 517pm and still waiting...
Upon waiting, the STORE MANAGER is picking and choosing who she wants to help. She was talking to an older gentlemen and he was hard of hearing. Because she couldn't communicate with him, she passed him off to another rep (what?!?) secondly, She tells someone else that just walked in that there is one person in front of them... (another couple and me) but then proceeds to ask them why they came and and fully services them.
Not trying to make this bigger than it needs to but she is white, first guy she couldn't help was white, couple that just walked in was white. I am NOT white. The other couple waiting for service is NOT white.

Went to this place a while back. I had a phone which was placed online for a store pick up. Went there and was told to wait. So I waited and waited and waited
4 staff with only 2 customers . Was told they don't have paperwork and that I must of made a mistake .
Employees were speaking polish and Spanish so I don't understand them
Was told they will call the police if I don't leave .
Jokes on them as I am the police . Avoid at all
Costs . If you speak Spanish they will

Love the Verizon Store at 9635 Milwaukee in Niles! Manager Ray and Salesperson Daniela are knowledgeable, helpful, and most importantly, PATIENT! For this senior citizen that is key! Daniela spent 2 hours with our account-my husband, sister and me- and although we surely tried her nerves with our never ending questions and inability to make decisions, she never lost her "cool." She helped us with every decision by calmly explaining and reexplaining and ... Her behavior, attitude and expertise assured us we came to the right place and were making the right decisions. Three days later when we returned with more questions, Manager Ray calmly greeted us (of course he remembered us)and assisted us expeditiously! Thank you Verizon for such capable customer service personnel. Thank you Ray and Daniela for walking us through a stressful situation

I had an issue with renewing a discount based on my medical profession with Verizon with customer service online as the verification system through ID ME was not working. So I went to this location for further assistance to expedite the resolution since it is an authorized admin store to fulfill these type of requests to verify identification. This was a 5 hour+ frustrating experience with NO resolution from anyone within the store and had to resolve my issue on my own in the end. My own company helped me with obtaining the discount in place of Verizon which made me question what happened to the service I used to get with this service as I have been a customer since 2019.
I first was helped by Mike Alvarez who was an associate in the store. Mike was extremely rude rolling his eyes at me and constantly challenging my request to resolve my issue constantly stating to call customer service when I had explained multiple times that I already had and needed further assistance with the issue. He also stated I was not eligible for the discount stating incorrectly that it was only for registered nurses whereas EMT was a listed profession eligible for the discount (on top of this, I already qualified the first time around before renewing this discount). Instead of keeping his attention with helping me with my issue he kept assisting other customers randomly walking away without saying anything to me in the middle of talking with me which was extremely unprofessional and plain rude. Mike also kept saying "show me proof" of the online reach out I made and pushing for me to redo the process which already was not working as I explained again.
I then requested to be helped by the store manager, Jermaine Smith, whom also informed incorrectly about the authorized privileges required to renew the discount at first until I showed the required criteria. He proceeded to do the same process as Mike and said he would be able to remove the discount and add it again as a workaround. He removed the discount and then proceeded to tell me it was up to me to add the discount again on my own with customer service which was again the wrong solution since their store was an admin store able to add the discount, so it appeared they pushed me off to the side to figure it out on my own instead of caring enough to help find me a solution.

What a bunch of liars and immature people working here. Especially nicole she was extremely rude, and being very sarcastic and dismissive of any problems that you might have with the phone or Verizon. They should shut this place down, I had the manager use profanity at me and than tell meabout being rude when they are the ones acting up and doing fraudulent things. Watch your bills they will add extra charges with out your knowledge. They will also have you accept a charge that you ok for lets say $200 and than actually charge you after you ok it and sign for it they than charge you more. And claim its legal because its taxes but its not when your authorize a certain amount that's they only amount you legally have to pay. They were supposed to replace a broken brand new phone but chose to argue and treat the customers like garbage. Never will I go to this place again and nor should anyone else who doesn't want to be robbed and treated like garbage by rude inconsiderate people....

My wife and I purchased 2 new galaxy 9 phones and the service was great. David took care of us and he was just marvelous going over everything with the new phones and he gave us all the time needed to cover everything we wanted to know. He gave us his business card and said call him with any questions. He put those plastic covers on our phones and said if they don't look right in a couple of day bring the phones back for new ones free of charge. I had an air pocket in mine and brought it back and Briana took care of us. She was just terrific, taking the old one off and putting the new one on. Of course I always have questions with a new phone and advise and she answered all my questions. Both David and Briana are an asset to that store and we are completely satisfied with the pleasant service we had there. Thank you! Jimmy and Yvette
