Walk in Clinic NY

I went to see this clinic ahead of a trekking trip in Peru. I had previously received the recommended vaccines but wasn't sure if I needed the yellow fever vax too. I was able to make a last minute appointment same-day which was truly clutch as other travel docs had nothing available for days. (Shame on me for waiting until the last second!)

The building was relatively easy to find and the elevator took me nearly right to the front door of their suite. The waiting room has chairs spaced apart (likely still from COVID precautions) and was appreciated.

Check-in was quite easy (a quick form on an iPad and a few questions on paper about the specific visit) though the front desk worker overcharged me. I sat in the waiting room for about 5 min past the scheduled appointment time but was called in right after which was refreshing as I know doctors often get backed up by the end of the day.

The doctor himself was absolutely lovely! I mentioned where I was traveling and he was incredibly thorough with questions and determined I didn't need the yellow fever vaccine based on where I was going. He did prescribe a Z-Pak which was incredibly appreciated as I know others who did the same trip recommended it. He also had the front desk employee refund the overcharged amount.

Overall I would recommend this place for anyone who needs a travel doctor and will absolutely be back ahead of my next trip!

Exceptionally clean, efficient care. The physicians seems knowledgeable, no-nonsense but professionally kind. Staff were very quick and helpful, too. I would recommend!

I went here for a travel vaccination. Friendly staff and doctor, easy check-in, clean and comfortable office, doctor was knowledgeable about vaccinations and took his time with me -- didn't rush me, answered my questions.

I might knock off a half-star because I had to wait 25-30 minutes. That's not the worst thing. Otherwise, flawless experience.

My daughter is in Manhattan for an audition and was feeling really awful. She asked me to look for an urgent care close to her hotel and I saw this walk-in clinic and all it's great reviews.(Plus it was super close to her hotel) She made her appointment and from the time she arrived until she left, she had exceptional service. The Dr. she saw was kind and understanding, and put her mind at ease that she was going to be fine. The staff was also exceptional!
As her mom, I can't thank you enough for helping her today. We live in California and being so far away- I felt completely helpless. The fact that she felt so relieved after her visit, put this worried moms mind at ease.

I'm getting surgery done next month and per medical protocol I have to get a physical and a blood panel done. Since I don't have insurance and I hate CityMD, I did a quick Yelp search for a clinic near my work or home and called Walk in Clinic NY.

They informed me that without insurance my fee would be $175 (If you pay cash you get a small discount). I booked my appointment immediately!

Fast forward to today, I saw Dr. Fuzayloff who was the absolute best. In this day and age with all the harassment allegations in the news and such he really conducts himself so well with patients! Very professional! He explained what he was about to do in the physical and asked if it was okay each time. I felt very comfortable the whole time, even including the blood work! Completely painless.

The only downfall was that I waited 35 minutes to be seen (I had a confirmed appointment). But I always wait at doctors offices so it's whatever I guess.

If you're considering Quest Diagnostics or anywhere else (like me before), lordddd don't do it. This place is way better. The rooms are bigger and the doctor is a sweetie!

Efficient and super friendly. Dr Fuzayloff is super kind, highly communicative, very thoughtful about travel vaccination/medications/planning. The clinic is prompt without feeling rush and the office staff is super helpful as well. Have gone here multiple times and had great experiences each time

Dr. Slava and his staff are professional, knowledgeable , respectful, honest, and caring. He prescribed the malaria medication I needed, and recommended a covering antibiotic to be taken if necessary.
I was seen in a timely manner. The cost was as quoted.

Had a great experience. The doctor was informative and knowledgeable. We came for yellow fever vaccines, for our upcoming travel and it was a quick and efficient process.

I'm about to embark on a tropical journey... Ubud, Bali, to be specific. I really wasn't thinking about anything other than the fact that my passport will expire in less than 6 months and oh no, it's currently my only form of photo ID, so I better just handle this in person (subject for another review). And then my friend casually asked if my vaccinations were up to date. Uh, no. WHY, I asked, already envisioning me coming down with some exotic tropical disease, the romantic kind, the stuff of a Marquez novel.

And then the neurotic side of me took over and I frantically searched Yelp for walk-in travel clinics and landed upon this one, conveniently located by Grand Central Station. They even have before and after work hours.

And really, I couldn't have asked for a more seamless process. I made my appointment for a few days later, was in and out in like 10 minutes or less. The doctor is nice and informative. I felt comfortable with him and I always don't feel comfortable with male doctors. The shot was tiny and painless. Yeah, five star shot time!

For my destination, only one vaccination was really necessary, that being Typhoid, but the options are seemly limitless. Hooray, right? Who knows what I'll ever be needing in the future. I sure would come back here for another round... or if I needed some type of thing checked out quickly (PCPs these days seem to have long waitlists).

They don't take insurance for vaccinations, so be aware of that and bring cash, because you get a bit of a discount (prices seem reasonable enough for me. Office visit is an extra $65). They do take insurance for other services. Just ask.

Dr. Fuzayloff was very helpful, informative, and professional with providing my travel vaccines for a trip to Peru. He had great bedside manner and explained everything clearly, giving me various options with no pressure on deciding. I definitely recommend this clinic for getting travel vaccines.
