Loads of small businesses here. Big Pool, public hours and Dolphins swim team. Hours are online.
      Big area multi-building,
Google more information BEFORE you come so you know where to park.

This school has showed my sister that told me that there is a make out hall and I think if this is a good school education of kids they shouldn't have this. This school hasn't showed my sister any good high school experience.

Teachers no longer teach students and blame students for test scores being so low!
Teachers don't allow students to use the restroom making it more of a risk of infectious diseases!
      It's not a privilege, it's a right!!

I've had some of my best and worst times here. Sad to see the school making all these major changes but I guess they're good changes.

Organic food? Does that mean no more Taco Salad? It was terrible for you but oh so good!

The teachers I had here were great. I'd totally do high school all over again.

I was in the FIRST 4-year graduating class at Westmoor, which means we attended four years, graduating in 1964. Soon to celebrate our 50th reunion in 2014,our group has kept in touch pretty well. Many of us have lived and worked all over the country & the world - but some have even stayed in Westlake/Brodmoor Village too !!! Main memory is the death of JFK in our Senior year ... also that year the BEATLES came to Cow Palace . I was a lucky one who got to see them ..... I was also the first girl to be Senior class president. Yes, things have changed a lot in almost 50 yrs---OMG !!!! Bet the FOG is still there ????
Glad that Calif Junior Colleges were FINE then, because I was NOT prepared for college too well at Westmoor,--altho' I have earned 2 M.A. degrees over the years
and have been a high school educator myself ..... LOL !!!!

As a graduate of this HS, I found that I left the school at a good time. After the year I left the school went through some major changes. They now all going organic, or no junk food for the most part. They do not want fat kids to be around. Teachers in this school are knowledgable for the most part. However, some of the teachers I would personally recommend have already left and gone to other things. Overall, this HS is not the best in the district, but it tries, and it does a good job at it. No football team, but does have a marching band. ...Weird...

      Once upon a time...
There was a school that stood on a hill...in the midst of a fog bank.

What do you mean, "NO FOOTBALL TEAM"????? Ram Football was TOTALLY GNARLY in the 1980s...But, we are so not in the 80s anymore Dorothy!
I think the whole "organic" thing is TOTALLY AWESOME! They use to feed us straight GARBAGE when I was in school. ...GAG ME WITH A SPOON! But, that was very "in" in the 80's. I like don't think that it's because they don't want any "fat kids" around. I just like think they like don't want their graduates to be FORCED to shop at Lane Bryant like we were.

I love Westmoor. I would NEVER send my kids there. But, they get 5 stars for churning out a fine, globally-minded, chubby, genius like me!

      GO RAMS!

I attended when they were in transition of making lunch a "No Off-Campus" lunch. Gang violence was kinda up there, but not as bad as other schools. If I could go back and do it over again, it would be Westmoor fo sho!

GO RAMS!!! Class of 1992 in da House! Miss you guys!

My son is a star basketball player in the 8th grade and plan to move in that area so he can play basketball there. School seems cool but checked out their Boys JV Basketball team against Washington the other day, and they looked terrible and coach looked clueless on how to break a full court press. Son said he doesn't want to play there, Doubt I want my son to play there either. Hear academics is good tho.
Have to debate with the wife. Will let my son talk my wife out of it so I am off the hook. The game was really that bad.
