While in the area, we stopped in at this fully plant-based restaurant that I've heard so much about! We got seated right away, & it was definitely a popular spot, seeing as how fast it filled up. We got to sit outside on their adorable patio, but the inside was also very nicely decorated.

Lots of fresh, seasonal produce, a full bar with lots of delicious-sounding drinks, & the food was sooo tasty!

I ordered a refreshing Prickly Pear Lime homemade soda to start, & we split some
Wild Mushroom Zeppole: mushroom fritters, porcini dust, vegan herb aioli

For our mains, I ordered the
Ensalada Andalusia: butter lettuce, chicories, toasted almonds, coconut bacon, cashew smokey goo-dah, sweety drop peppers, smoked paprika, agave and sherry vinaigrette

      & she ordered the
Little Gem Salad: coconut parmesan, pistachios, fried capers, herbs, radishes, green goddess vinaigrette

      Fantastic!

Must visit for vegetarians and vegans.

Indoor and outdoor seating available. Plenty of space. Great location - downtown.

The cocktails were nicely prepared. Tried their in house cocktail - black pink and the traditional bloody mary. Both were good.

For the food, tried their Mediterranean platter ( Mezze plate green) from the brunch menu and their wildseed burger. Both were awesome.

The burger was supposed to be made from Mushrooms and spinach. It didn't taste any of those but still was great, specially with their hot sauce.

Great service and a friendly staff.

This was my second time at Wildseed and I will definitely be back! 4.5/5 stars overall, but rounding up to 5 stars. This is a staple vegetarian restaurant in the area.

Food: not all dishes are "wow" which is why this restaurant lost .5 stars, but most dishes have a good composition of flavors and textures. I love that this is vegetarian friendly!

Service: Quick service and they checked in pretty quickly. Dishes came out one by one but at a good pace. We had to ask for more water, but they compensated by giving us two water jugs

Ambiance: very cute and lots of windows for natural light. I love the greenery of fresh plants. It does get noisy and at night it's pretty dimly lit

If you're in the mood for a fresh, vibrant dining experience, this all-veg spot offers the perfect mix of farm-to-table goodness and laid-back, LA-style aesthetics. The restaurant is a true gem, with clean, minimalist design that complements the fresh ingredients they use. It's the kind of place where you can feel good about what you're eating and the atmosphere surrounding it.

The menu offers a variety of creative dishes, but my standout favorites were the new vegan sausage pizza and the cucumber appetizer. The pizza is a game-changer - the vegan sausage is rich in flavor, complementing the perfect, slightly crispy crust. The sauce has just the right balance of tangy, spicy, and savory, and every bite feels like a burst of flavor. As for the cucumber appetizer, it's refreshing, light, and packed with unique flavors that pop in your mouth. It's the ideal starter to kick off a satisfying meal.

The vibe here is effortlessly cool, with a focus on sustainability and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that mirrors the laid-back vibe of LA. If you're looking for a guilt-free, delicious meal in a beautiful setting, this spot is a must-visit.

Service was settler. Alejandro is quick efficient and so friendly. Thank you for a great first visit

Wildseed is a gorgeous modern vegan restaurant with all the vibezz! Fresh plants in every corner, beautiful artwork, fun music, and innovative vegan eats! This review is based on the 2 food items I had because the items my friends ordered were way better.

Location: Easily found in the chaotic Town and Country Plaza of Palo Alto. However.. Parking is a challenge and if you plan to go on a weekday during lunch- may the odds be in your favor! You are not only up against other lunch-goers, but also hungry students from Palo Alto High School that SWARM Town and Country haha

Pricing: $$ Items on the menu were a bit pricey for the portion sizes but it is possible to find something within budget if needed.

Service: The service staff were friendly but not attentive. We had a group of 8 people and never received a refill of water.

Food: $10 "Spicy" Cucumber Salad - 3/5 The cucumbers were fresh and had a crisp to every bite! The appetizer may LOOK spicy, but I did not feel a kick or hint of spice at all. The flavors were nice but very mild. If you're going to call it spicy, please bring the heattt. I did enjoy the avocado on top to add another texture.

$14 Mushroom "Fritters" - 2.5/5 Fritters are expected to be fried, but these were SOFT and doughy like bread. I also thought that the mushrooms were going to be fried whole, but it appears they chopped up the mushrooms and mixed it into the batter. The aioli saved the dish for me. I was disappointed that the fritters did not deliver on the fried and crispy notes I was craving, so I ate some of my friend's fries- which were delicious.

I will have to come back to try other items on the menu!

Had a lovely dinner with a friend here. Cute interior and patio. And good food! We really enjoyed the Mezze plate and the Spring seasonal paella. However neither of us are vegan, we did enjoy the paella but both agreed we'd rather have the paella (with seafood or meat) next door at Teleferic. We'd come back to try more of their other items though!

finally, a plant-based spot that doesn't feel like it's trying too hard. From the moment you walk in, the space is airy, stylish, and welcoming, with natural wood accents and a subtle, earthy charm that sets the tone for a relaxed, elevated dining experience.
The enchiladas were a standout. The pizza was delicious, super flavorful, and beautifully plated. All throughout the meal I kept saying "I can't believe this is vegan."

Drinks? Phenomenal. Their seasonal cocktails are fresh and creative--mine had turmeric and citrus and somehow tasted both indulgent and healthy. Service was warm and attentive, and the staff really knows the menu, which is always appreciated.

Whether you're vegan or just someone who appreciates good food and good vibes, Wildseed hits the mark. It's become one of my go-to spots in Palo Alto. Bonus points for the sustainable ethos and the cozy outdoor seating.

As vegetarians, my husband and I love that it's fully plant-based, but I wish some of their year-round dishes had a bit more flavour and interesting combinations of ingredients. Their seasonal menu, however, is always intriguing, and I usually order something from that. The drinks are beautifully presented & taste pretty good. For their high prices, I expected a bit more creativity in exploring vegan cuisine.. the portion sizes are pretty small that I was not full even after having an entire entree for myself :/ The restaurant has a fantastic ambiance - always lively and bustling, so I recommend making a reservation because it fills up fast.
Overall, it's a great spot for vegan food, but it's on the pricier side. I definitely won't be coming back often, but will consider for special occasions.

I'm just your regular meat-eating foodie, but good vegetarian/vegan is still appreciated. Wildseed definitively makes that cut being delicious and gorgeous to look at with great service for a lovely brunch experience. All around great technical execution and combinations! Beats out plenty of meat-eating spots and gives them a run for their money. A bit more premium in pricing, but flavors generally solid and leaning lighter in salt.

Generally great service. Staff assisted us frequently in getting things in the works and paid attention to even small details like plate changes when appropriate (such as for a savory dish vs a sweet one). All around A+ staff service.

      =Curried Cauliflower= 3.5/5
A neat appetizer, but sadly the only miss in my book. Could've used more curry flavor / salt. Spot on in terms of doneness though, thoroughly cooked yet firm. Combined with the salsa(?) on the bottom it goes quite well but it was somewhat difficult to dab the thin layer.

      =Chilaquiles= 5/5
The "just egg" is surprsingly good; texture is slightly different and flavor has additional mung bean notes, but great on the browning and such. If you didn't mention it wasn't "real" egg, I honestly wouldn't have noticed! The just-crunchy nachos on the bottom blended really well and were just at the right texture to add that extra oomph without sharp contrast.

      =French Toast= 5/5
Something else with more of that lovely "just egg" browning. The berry compote was delightfully fruity, though a touch sweet for me (it was perfect for my sweet toothed brother though).

      =Corn cakes= 5/5
Would absolutely corn cake again. Luscious and creamy, savory yet sweet. Adding plenty of seared corn on top is figurative icing on this cake. That powerful aoili really cuts through in just the right way.

      1 check-in

Wild seed is the only vegan restaurant I've tried in the Bay Area and I'm so grateful for it! It definitely has a more upscale feel and it's better suited for a sit down meal than to go, but I'm sure they provide both options.

I tried the probiotic bowl with neat bowls and really enjoyed it. I loved all of the wholesome ingredients and nutrients that were in this delicious bowl! A menu favorite is the golden milk latte. I prefer it hot and sometimes I'll stop in for one whenever I need a pick me up.

Located in town and country, this is a great spot for lunch after shopping.
