but to no avail. Not TRUSTWORTHY, watch your cc closely when renting for them. Make cc dispute when necessary and don't rely on them.
...the deposit until the 10th day, which means you will not see a credit until 13 days later not counting weekends and holiday. they will over book and then explai; ohh we have no more cars, although you have a confirmation number. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE.
...they quoted twice was I was told it would be when I made my reservation. The one time I did rent they told me my $400 hold fee would be refunded in 7 to 10 days, it took almost a month for them to refund me.

...as I knew of the change of flight time. My phone log shows I made 7 attempts from 5:45 PM until nearly midnight but just kept getting a recording saying "...leave a message.", then "This mail box is full..." This left me with only one option. I drove the car back to the exact location from which I picked it up and called an Uber to take us to the airport. The location is a small building about the size of a one-star garage and has parking for about 12 vehicles. I was surprised and a bit baffled to discover they had no Drop Box for after hour car key returns, so I hid the key behind a sign on the building. I called them once I landed in Charlette NC and explained the situation. The woman I spoke with was very rude and told me I would have to pay an additional $250 "Abandonment fee". ABANDONMENT FEE???!! Where would they rather I had left it? Their Rental agreement (Nifty, not Ace, btw) states: Item #4. "...Renter shall return Vehicle to Daily Rental Company..." That's exactly what I did. RS 32:473.1 Abandoned vehicle - Louisiana State Legislature defines abandoned vehicles as: ... decrepit cars or car wrecks or cars that have become useless in other ways, which are abandoned and illegally dumped in the environment. How can ACE possibly say I abandoned the vehicle when I returned it to the exact location from which I rented it, cleaner than when I got it and with a full tank of gas? One of the several documents they flashed before me and had me sign was a document called "Addendum to Rental Agreement". It covers accidents, traffic violations, cleaning fees, wheels tires and glass, fuel fee, drop off before / after hours, unauthorized driver, traveling rules, and other fees. Under drop off before / after hours, it does state, "... prior arrangements must be made at the time of rental if the vehicle used to be returned before or after hours." That was impossible under these circumstances. Initially I had intended to return the car during normal working hours but the need to change to an earlier flight forced me to return the car at 2:00 AM. This is nothing more than thinly veiled THIEVERY.... Read other reviews, DON'T GET SCAMMED BY THESE CON ARTESTS.

...it off, staff let us use their restrooms and waiting area as we waited for an Uber to the airport. If you drop off before rush hour, they take you to the airport at a guaranteed discount of 10% of the going Uber rate. Highly recommend this rental car company!
...office only to be told they did not have a vehicle. Then tried to book directly at their airport office and was told they would ring me back within 15 to 30 minutes with a solution. 90 minutes later still no answer then after another call they advised me to seek a vehicle elsewhere. Contacted Nifty and they could not have been more helpful, courteous or professional. Less than 15 minutes later I was in my vehicle and on the road. ...get it all back, no problems. The car was a smooth drive, no issues. I was a little nervous given some of the reviews but my experience here was great. The staff and owner were all really friendly and helpful.
...rental car location. I rented a car for 2 days because my Benz was being regular serviced , the car had 120 thousand miles they tented out to me . I only used 18 miles the entire 2 days .So you rented me a dirty used car then over charge my card and i have to wait. Most true rental car places wont have me depositing $400 extra on a credit card and wait for a refund. They do a pending hold vs a true charge. I live across the street and I will never rent from this place again in life. Dont do it . Let them rent to their local drug dealers with no credit card they have to charge $400 for upfront. Thats why you cant go more than 200 miles its for local drug dealers who cant afford a car or have credit. Staff great , cars , service , local drug dealer policies the worst. Customer abuse keeping our money for 2 weeks in my case cost me extra interest i had to pay on my credit card that this company caused me because they don't operate as a true rental company.
