Shirley’s 4-star review: Food: I had a chance to come here and order whatever I wanted for an amazing recruitment dinner. I had high expectations, since this is the most talked about restaurant in the neighborhood. It was good, definitely better than caprice cafe, but not mindblowingly good. The tartar for appetizer was bland, not much flavor, the crispy bread was so thin and crumbly. Burrata in my salad was stringy, cooked peppers tasted odd. Drinks were ok though, strawberry fizz was sweet and not too strong, which I liked. Gnocchi had too much blue cheese, linguine texture was still pretty hard, more so than al dente. Chocolate volcano tasted a bit burnt, but tiramisu was delicious. Price: the company that was doing recruitment paid for my dinner, but I attached the menu with pricing for reference, hope this helps. Definitely in the pricier side Ambiance: dimly lit classic interior design, best for date nights, not really a kid friendly vibe Service: the servers were very nice and kind and patient, since our dinner did not start until later (30 minutes wait time) when everyone had arrived. It did seem a bit slow for them to come around though, maybe because we were located in a separate private room (which can accommodate around 12 people I think) Parking: ended up parking on the street close to the restaurant, thankfully they were all free without much restrictions -

Shirley’s 5-star review: Thank you Mylesha and Sea Queen for hosting this event! It was my first year of being Yelp Elite and first official event where I could interact with other yelpers besides my own partner Derek haha Food was decent, chicken was really tender and juicy, slightly on the sweet side, rice was somehow really buttery and good, egg rolls were packed with ingredients inside. I liked that they had a charcuterie section prior to the meal since I was already hungry arriving to the banquet. The place itself was divided in 2 parts, restaurant where the cocktail hour was held and the banquet where buffet dinner was served. Mostly dimly lit, not too much of luxurious fancy vibes, but great for casual outings, especially for big group of friends/family. I got to meet new friends Mark, Aaditya, Tara, Amanda, and Jasmine at the dinner table, what a mix of fun interesting amazing people! I was worried since I'm a bit shy, but they were so friendly and welcoming, with wealth of stories to share. Hope I get to see them at the next events too hehe If we didn't get to meet and introduce ourselves, I was the asian girl with bangs and long blue dress with side/front slit. My partner Derek was wearing a matching blue suit, such a hottie teehee. I would love to get to know more fellow yelp elites, see you at the next event!

Shirley’s 5-star review: Food: wow every dish we got here was so satisfying and just delicious! My favorite was honey walnut shrimp, perfectly fried with crunch on the outside, and really good sweet glazed sauce, walnuts were great addition, I couldn't stop reaching for it! My friends also got general tso's chicken which was sweet/sour/mild spicy with bits of pineapple and veggies mixed in, and deep fried chicken which had good amount of spice to really add to the flavor. I thoroughly enjoyed this experience, definitely will be coming back more often for to go orders Price: pretty reasonable, each entree dish ranged about $10-13 and the specials were like $15-16, really good pricing compared to some other places I've been to, and this has better food quality and bigger portions Ambiance: typical Chinese restaurant vibes, great for families and little children too, mostly casual hangouts, clean and well lit inside Service: good, did not have any issues ordering and getting our food. My friend had asked for water without ice, but they forgot and still brought ice water, which is minor thing. I got my hot water correctly as requested however Parking: restaurant is located within a big strip mall complex with associated free parking spaces available in the lot, no issues finding a spot here -

Shirley’s 5-star review: Food: absolutely amazing, I am so glad my boyfriend took me out here for brunch, so we could try out their amazing food! Creme brulee french toast was perfect amount of sweetness with crusted sugar on top, belly 2 belly was super umami with tender melting pieces of meat, longanisa was pleasant surprise of savory juicy sausage. Even their drink sidecar coffee was sooo good, so smooth and not too acidic or overpowering. Cost: see menu pics for more details, but their entree cost about $14-20, drinks cost about $4-6, which are very reasonable and comparable to other places in my opinion Ambiance: cute clean and hip place with lots of seating inside and a little patio outside as well. We opted to sit inside since the outside smelled a bit like car gas when we were there. Busy and bustling, we waited close to an hour to get seated, but well worth the wait. A lot of young customers in college or in their 20s out and about with their friends/partner Service: great service, they made a little error of giving us cold coffee instead of requested hot coffee. But when we brought it to their attention, they graciously gave us the right drink and let us keep the previous drink as well Parking: pretty big parking lot associated with the restaurant, had no issues finding an available spot -
Shirley’s 5-star review: I had first heard about this donut shop from my work boss, finally had the time and opportunity to come here with my boyfriend in the morning. And oh boy, was he darn right, this really is the best place to get your donuts in IE, maybe even all of SoCal! So come through everyone, you won't regret it hehe Food: Came here for the sweet doughnuts, left with full belly of savory doughnuts. We tried lemon ricotta, orange blossom, old fashioned, and miso caramel banana, all with very distinct flavors and just the right amount of sweetness. I enjoyed the tangy citrusy lemon ricotta, while my boyfriend was impressed with the cinnamon and glaze of old fashioned. But what they really really shine in is, the SAVORY donuts! Don't be fooled by the plain outside look, the inside is filled with yummy ingredients that will burst with flavor in your mouth! We first tried the omelet one, which was perfect for a hearty breakfast. I had to go back in and try their seasonal, pesto peach one, which was just as amazing. They give you a chipotle sauce on the side, which make the savory donut experience infinitely more enjoyable. Price: I would say the donuts are on the pricier side than your average pop and mom donut stores, but this is not your average shop, this is better than Sidecar y'all! So of course yes, I will gladly spend money here and try out all the delicious luxury delicacies they sell here. See the attached menu pictures for more details. Service: The owner Naz (I hope I'm spelling this correctly) is so welcoming and friendly, he talked to us for a while, asked about our jobs and life and such haha. Turns out he's a CRNA (nurse anesthesiologist) turned donut man, what a great career change! He explained to us all the different flavors, gave awesome recommendations to try out. All the other staff was so nice and kind too, both my heart and belly were both full when leaving the place teehee Ambiance: This place is still relatively new, opened up 10/2023, but I have a feeling it will continue to grow and who knows, maybe become a big franchise known for their awesome savory doughnuts, with multiple locations all over the state/country! Inside is clean and modern, with colorful hints of sage green. I also think their slogan "X is silent" is super cool and cute (so I suppose deaux is pronounced dough haha). Parking: We came early Friday morning around 7AM (they open 6:30AM), and there were street parking spots right in front of the store. Since this is mostly grab and go place, the turnover is pretty high and there will usually be parking availability in the area! -

Shirley’s 4-star review: Food: My bestie found this spot first and finally took me to visit Lake Arrowhead Village. We were hungry so immediately found this place to eat on a nice weekday brunch time. We ordered belgian benedict, which was warm and decent, poached egg and hollandaise sauce were creamy yummy, but would've liked the waffles a little more cripsy and with a little more toppings. Mountain breakfast was a giant heap of carbs and gravy, which definitely satisfied a craving, but salty enough that we each took like 5 bites and were done. Peach melba was sweet and good finish, but couldn't shake the feeling that it was just ordinary slightly soggy waffle with canned peaches and some whipped cream on top. Price: belgian benedict was $14.5, peach melba was $13.5, and mountain breakfast was $13.25, which I think are pretty reasonable prices for the huge portions we received. Definitely could not finish them and had to take some for to go Ambiance: honestly, this is what makes the place 4 stars instead of 3 stars. We got to sit out in the patio area, overlooking the beautiful Lake Arrowhead, and had a great time enjoying the view and chichatting along. Definitely would come here again, not for the food, but for the vibes. Service: good, did not have issues ordering our food, getting them served, refilling out water cups, or paying for our meals, along with much needed to go boxes Parking: there is a big parking lot associated with Lake Arrowhead Village itself. Even thought it looks deceptively big, there are a lot of cars even on a weekday time, and we had to circle around a couple times before finding a spot. -
Shirley’s 4-star review: Food: these rolled icecreams were hefty and dense, just the way I like it! the taco shells were cute, but not quiet as crispy or crunchy as I had wanted it. My boyfriend and I enjoyed the coffee and cream a lot (even though the coffee flavor wasn't as noticeable), but did not appreciate the banana cream pie as much (seemed too much artificial banana to me). They did satisfy the craving thou, will be back later when in the mood for huge icreacream tacos Price: cost about $9 per taco icecream, which I think is reasonable given their relatively big size Ambiance: small little shop with just about 5 or so tables inside, wasn't too crowded when we went and had issues finding a spot. Cute colorful decorations, good to hang out with friends and family Service: good, the person taking our order was friendly Parking: there is parking lot associated with the shop, there were some open spaces, easy to find available spot -
