Suspicions of north wind operations raised by some are intertwined with emergency martial law.
The key point of the suspicion is that Pyongyang drones, garbage balloons, and loudspeaker broadcasts to North Korea were trying to induce North Korea's provocation and use it as a justification for emergency martial law.
The Ministry of National Defense strongly refuted this, saying it was never true.
The loudspeaker broadcast to North Korea said it was a normal measure to respond to more than 4,000 violations of the North's military agreement, including garbage balloons.
He also stressed that the plan to strike the origin of the garbage balloon is a natural step for the military, which has to be prepared, and has nothing to do with martial law.
Some also criticized the South Korean military's "Suspension of the effectiveness of the September 19 Military Agreement" and that they were sympathizing with North Korea's claims.
At the same time, he urged the government to stop raising reckless suspicions, saying that unfounded false claims pose a serious threat to national security.

The Ministry of National Defense added that it will continue to actively engage in parliamentary investigations on emergency martial law and focus on maintaining a firm preparedness to curb North Korea by only looking at the enemy.
The military has unusually strongly criticized the North Korean agreement, but has maintained its existing strategic ambiguity that it cannot confirm the allegations of Pyongyang drones without disclosing whether they are true.
