Schnitzer is a global leader in the collection, processing, and sale of the world's most recycled product: steel. Through our integrated operating platform, we process scrap metal and we manufacture finished steel products from our own scrap metal. Pros of working at Schnitzer Steel

It's different day by day.

Cons of working at Schnitzer Steel

Never at home. Always working. Corporate guys make policies for the business that were relevant 10 years ago. They try to run auto recycling like it's a cookie cutter business but it's not. At all. It's frustrating.

Schnitzer Steel Benefits

Health insurance (used to be so much better but it's still pretty good). They pay for most of the premium. That's why I stay.
