99 Cents Only Stores

The 2 stars is for the store. The 99 cent store is NO more. So sad.
Everyone knows the economy is off the charts but I went in to get aluminum foil sheets (25 sheets to a box) it was 4.99!! Hard to imagine when I used to get it for .99 cents! Things aren't priced clearly to know how much things cost now.
It's not their fault how prices have skyrocketed here, since it's everywhere!
The checkout people are usually very nice. And the guys putting out the produce are usually pretty pleasant too

I was at your store yesterday and as soon as I walked in I saw Ghirardelli chocolates on an end cap with 99 cents sign on top. I asked the associate at the front if the items on the end cap are all 99 cents and she said yes. When I went to pay it rang up at 1.99. The cashier said they are all different prices. I asked her to check the other items and they were all 99 cents except the Ghirardelli. The manager, who claimed that she's the store manager which I found
out later that she's not, will not honor the price. This is the third time that this situation happened to me. Should I just report it to weights and measures???

Great service it's just the only thing is that a lot of thugs and homeless are constantly outside in the parking lot. You can't change that even if you hire security it's in a rough part of town where a lot of shootings and narcotic trafficking happens. A lot of gang invested neighborhoods nearby but it's not the owners fault or workers other than that it's good

On my way to a cook-out potluck get together in Stockton I was looking for a place to pick up some snacks to add to the edibles and spotted this place. I thought they would have what I sought, and for not much money either, so even better.
It seemed clean, well stocked and well organized, and I was quickly able to find what I wanted.
Check-out was efficient and moved quickly so I was in and out of there with no time wasted. The cashier was pleasant.
This is a large store and they have just about every category of items a person could want so it's a great asset as a place to find many things at rock-bottom prices.
The only negative I experienced here was some people behaving badly right outside the store.

How dare anyone give my precious baby anything less than four stars? I am all about great bargains, and I would be a coupon queen, if I wasn't too lazy to clip them.

This place is like a nightclub in New York, before Giuliani sanitized it. There's the guy out front trying to sell you incense, and massage oils. Next to him, there's a guy trying to sell you his mixtape. Don't give up on your dreams, dude. You're totally going to be the next Kanye, and people absolutely still use cd players.

Once inside, you'll find brand name products, unlike that other place, which shall remain nameless. Cough, cough DOLLAR TREE.

You will find products that sell for much more elsewhere. Once, I bought ten bags of Earth Balance chips. Okay, twenty. Don't judge me. They retail for almost five dollars.

And, really, where else can you witness someone telling off a cashier because, 'Why are you charging me a dollar, per item. This is the 99 cent store!!'

I come here a lot. The main reason, I really don't have the need to go to a grocery store if it's just me for five days a week.

99 cent store pretty much has everything you need, especially if you are single. Birthday cards to garbage bags they have it all. I mainly come for the munchies and crunchies, frozen fruit and the" Atomic green Bananas". (If you been been here, you know what I'm talking about).

But napkins and soap and stuff, I'll get here to. The milk is the only thing in the store that's not 99 cents. But my three children love shopping with me, so we come and get whatever.

This place is always packed and the outside of the store is off the hook. Fools selling all types of stuff from Dvd's , Cd's and other things. All they need is that tamales guy from Wal-Mart on Hammer Ln. Then it would be a straight swap meet outside.

My only complaint would be the lack of cashiers. Sometimes you got hella people and only a few cashiers. They really need to have all hands on deck from open to close. But I do enjoy my time when I come here. It's always fun :)

There is no way I'll be able to get enough good deals. Row after row has many items that I regularly use. You can produce healthy meals if you only buy foods that are not packed with sugar, saturated fats and processed meats. Produce selections are not full of items that are already bad. Seasonal aisles are fully stocked up with great options. Left with a basket full!

W O W !!! Were do I begin.
(1) This store has the best white -glass alter candles, though most would prefer to have 7day candles of this type, to fix that I just date the candles on the bottom - on the average they are 3-4day candles, so I may have to light two to get the seven days.
(2) They carry fresh produce and is really good for the most part and for the price, you cannot beat it. The produce always changes.

This place is my local 99, l like finding good deals here for household supplies and grocery items. The store could be little more organized and more cashiers open during busier hours. But overall, I like this store over the others in this area. Not bad!
