I wanted an update on my bleach blonde dull color and made an appointment with Chelsea. She gave me excellent suggestions based on what I told her I wanted and I couldn't be more pleased!!
Now i have soft brown with a lot of blondes highlights!!! LOVE IT!

I will never go back to the JC Penny's Salon i went there in June on the 8th for a color job, what i have now is HOT MESS, there is no shine, it's brittle, losing my hair in certain areas, i want to cry, all i wanted was a dark brown color applied, i don't know what i got 2 wks after i began to notice to brittle hair, start moisturizing the scalp to see if that would improve it, no luck. I'm just so disappointed, especially the money i had to pay for absolutely NOTHING!!! I can't do anything to my hair until the end of this month to correct this MESS!!! So i would have to look like this in public or wear a WIG until i have this MESS corrected. AGAIN I WILL NEVER EVER GO TO THAT SALON AGAIN. I HOPE THE STYLIST THAT DID THIS MESS TO MY HAIR SEE THIS POST, I WILL NOT BE PETTY AND POST HER NAME BUT I KNOW WHO IT WAS.

William can not cut hair, DO NOT let him touch your hair. I showed him a picture of what I wanted and he completely botched it. Melissa did what she could to fix it, but I look like a boy, he didn't use scissors just went in with clippers and it was chunky and horrible. And he was so concerned with his phone the whole time. He can't even wash hair, my back was drenched when he rinsed my hair out because he lifted my head up so much. I have gotten some bad hair cuts before and just let it go, because it'll grow back and I can usually make it work, even if it isn't what I wanted. I've never complained and always tipped even if I don't like it, but I was sitting in the chair crying he had messed it up so bad. The manager didn't charge me for the cut, and thankfully Melissa was there to try to salvage what she could, but I hate my hair.

This is a great place to get a hair cut. I go here and see Melissa as she has been doing my wife's hair for about two years now. She cuts my hair just the way I ask. This salon stays busy all day long so they must be doing something right. Also around the start of school they give free hair cuts to the kids, that's hard beat. Prices are very good it just depends on what you want.

I'm an African American lady therefore I have coarse difficult hair. I was recommended to get my hair done at this Salon by an African American lady that said she was a Master Stylist. When she did my hair her flat iron heat was on high and there was smoke coming from the flat iron . My friend even looked at the lady like what the world. Also while she was flat ironing my hair she continuously sprayed oil sheen on every piece. The outcome was a greasy stiff mess. The only good experience about the appointment was that she cut my hair how I wanted it. I will only be returning for cuts in the future. Also I had to wait 40 minutes till I was able to go in the back for the appointment I had made. They really should get organized.

Maria the hairstylist is as good as it gets. Trust no one but her. She is a magician with haircolor as well as cuts. Worth every penney (no pun intenteded)

My daughter went to Penneys hair salon today, only to walk out with a butcher job. The photo was added to the list of photos (#5). Supposedly, this stylist had over 20 years experience. If this is the talent they hire, then I recommend you steer far and wide!
