I'm going to be visiting in my 28 foot RV. What should I expect for parking option?

      A:

You can park in the very back of the lot, closest to the freeway. or behind the movie theater. The closer to Lazy Dog you get, the more packed it is. If you are planning on parking over night after you dine, I would suggest going to Wal-Mart just… more

Excellent service from Cynthia and awesome food. Good choices for vegetarians also. The teriyaki bowl was fantastic.

      My experience (02-16-2025)
      * I would have given it 5 stars, but one of the hostess at the front desk was kind of rude when sitting us down. (We thought that the high tables by the bar were still open seating, but she rudely said "these tables are not open seating, I'll help you at the host desk." Got menus and sat us at the same table we already sat. As she was heading back to her host desk, she was saying something under her breath.)*

Umami fries and drinks were delicious! Our server was super friendly and attentive (Sophia)! The ambiance of the restaurant was great!

Lazy Dog is one of my reliable places to go when I am hungry and don't want to think about what I want to eat. They are open late and have curbside pickup for when I want to grab my meal and eat it in my hotel. It has a lovely atmosphere and dogs are welcome on the patio (can I please pet all of them?).

This visit I met up with a friend to celebrate our birthdays. We started the firecracker shrimp which was very good and served on an edible rice paper. I had a Cobb salad for my entree (and was so hungry I forgot to take a pic) and my friend had the chicken pot pie. Both were very good. For dessert I had the butter cake which comes with vanilla ice cream and a strawberry compote. My friend had the apple-huckleberry open face pie which I tried and also enjoyed.

Over the years I have tried many things on the Lazy Dog menu and it is very reliable. If you are looking for comfort food done well, this is your place. There is also a big parking lot with ample parking.

First time trying this restaurant. Went here after work on a Sunday evening. Did not have a reservation, got seated in 10-15 mins. The service was okay, could be better. The waitress did not recommend us anything from the menu. Waitress did not really check up on us as frequently as we wanted but waitress was nice and sweet when checking my party out.

The ambiance was nice, we got seated at one of the high chairs by the bar area, table was set nicely and had good view of the tvs around the restaurant. Restaurant had a nice vibe to it. Definitely a good restaurant to take a date too.

The food was good better than most restaurant/ bar type of restaurants. I will say you should definitely try the ahi poke rice cakes appetizer they have there, very delicious and the star of the show during my experience. I also ordered the pulled pork sandwich with fries. The sandwich was just good. The fries were good, I had to add salt but still good and crispy.

I give this restaurant an overall 4/5 based on presentation, food, & customer service. The customer service is lacking but it's just maybe I went had a bad time. It was a Sunday night, it was busier than normal since this was the only restaurant open late on a Sunday. Will definitely be back to reorder the ahi poke rice cakes appetizer!

      Updated review

We arrived on a busy Saturday night. Wait time was quoted for 45minutes so we looked for seating at the bar. Luckily we found two seats and were promptly greeted. We ordered our drinks and food came out quickly. I ordered the new pie tin nachos (no meat added) and it was very good! The chips didn't get soggy and the toppings were plentiful! My husband ordered a healthy option, chicken, shrimp, rice and veggies. We were impressed with the protein serving size! We had a great meal overall!

Flew into town late at night and this was the best spot open. Our server was very nice and attentive even though it was very late. They have a great variety of food and drink items. Their burger was cooked very well. Our favorite item on the menu was the bacon candy, it was so addictive we had to order a second round.

      1 check-in

My family and I recently dined at Lazy Dog in the Valley and had a memorable experience. Coming back to the Bay, we needed to find a dog-friendly spot for a late lunch. My Dad was curious about Lazy Dog in Dublin, so we chose to come here!

The two of us came on New Year's. It was packed around 3 p.m., so we waited about 20 minutes for a patio seat. Once seated, we enjoyed the heaters and fire pit. The ambiance is a super casual kid--and dog-friendly environment. Our waitress was the only one managing the patio, so the food came out slowly. Flagging her took awhile, and interactions felt rushed and not friendly.

What caught my eye was their happy hour--honestly, it seemed like pretty good deals for food and drinks. With it being my only meal of the day, I wanted something more hearty, so I chose the Mediterranean Bowl, with no feta and tzatziki sauce on the side. It's not an impressive dish. It lacked flavor, the chicken wasn't tender, and it wasn't wow-worthy--my Dad, who had his meal at the other location, got the same thing. The one pro for Lazy Dog is their dog-friendly menu. I got my puppy a Chicken Dog Bowl. I cut it up and portioned it, and put it in a separate bowl and she devoured it. They also give water for your dogs.

Lazy Dog in Dublin serves fast, casual American fare. With so many locations, some are better than others. I wouldn't come back to their Dublin one, but it's nice to have a dog-friendly place with happy hour in Dublin. The restaurant is easy to find in Hacienda Crossings, with ample free parking.

We stopped here for dinner on our way home from San Jose. The place wasn't crowded yet, though the bar area was fairly full. We were able to grab a booth for four right away. I had the Cuban with fries, and it was delicious, though it was cut into three pieces, which was a bit odd. Other than that, the flavor was great, and the fries were perfectly crispy.

Few of my friends decided to have dinner here. There was a wait as usual. When we finally got seated, it did take a while when we finally got our drinks and gave our order.
We ordered the ginger soy salmon, two grilled lemon chicken, and pb&j burger. I requested my burger with no onions, pickles, and jelly. But still got jelly in my burger. The chicken was a bit too charred. We didn't bother to bring it up because we figured it would take another how long to get our orders redone and we were hunger.
Service and food wasn't as good as usual. Not the best experience.

First off, walking into the Lazy Dog has an almost Yellowstone feel. Lots of stone, open, spacious, rustic with wood and westerny accents. The hibiscus marg was on sale (see photo) so I went for it. Delicious and not too sweet. For food, my wife went All American burger swap for Swiss and add bacon. Burger was a perfect rare as requested. Server made custom garlic fries happen for us....which tells you something about the service. Truly excellent! Fries were some of the best she's had. I stole some so I would agree.

I went Spicy Tuna w Crispy Rice. For one person, it's a full meal. Great presentation - sort of a roll style w tons of umami. The jalapeño was a nice touch. I ate half with and then without the jalapeño. Both bites were fantastic- sort of a tuna poke in roll form. The crispy rice was a nice treat on the bottom.

We will absolutely be coming back. Many interesting items on the menu left to explore!
