Bukhari (heater)
부하리(Hindustani: बु़़र or 또는 بُاایی)는 인도 아대륙의 북쪽 지역에서 온 전통적인 우주난로로서, 일반적으로 나무를 태우는 난로다.[1] 북하리스는 나무, 숯, 기타 연료를 태우는 기단의 넓은 원통형 불기둥과 상단의 좁은 원통형 원통형 불기둥으로 이루어져 있어 실내 난방에 도움을 주고 굴뚝 역할을 한다. 인도 북하리의 기지는 대부분의 서부 목화 난로의 기단보다 넓다. 부카리스는 아프가니스탄, 파키스탄 북부, 인도 북부, 네팔, 부탄, 북동 인도와 같은 지역의 북쪽 벨트에서 발견된다.[2]
어원
부카르라는 용어는 열이나 열을 의미하는 페르시아어에서 유래된 힌두스탄어다.[3] 현대 페르시아어에서 부하리라는 용어는 일반적으로 히터를 가리킨다.
양계농장에서 사용
북하리스는 겨울밤 새들을 따뜻하게 하기 위해 북인도의 양계농가들에 의해 널리 사용되고 있다.[4][5]
연료 대체 및 보존
산림보존의 필수조건은 등유 기반 버전과 전통 품종보다 연료 효율이 높은 북하리스 등 인도의 북하리스 대체 설계 개발로 귀결되었다.[6][7]
위험
흔히 북하리 굴뚝은 집 밖에서 연기를 내뿜을 정도로 길지 않아 해마다 이 지역에서 일산화탄소 중독으로 사망하는 사고가 발생하고 있다. 이 지역의 공공 당국과 대중 매체는 종종 사람들에게 폐쇄된 방에서 협심증이나 북하리를 사용하지 말라고 권한다.[8] 부카리스는 또한 뜨거운 금속 표면과 연료 연소 구역에 쉽게 접근할 수 있기 때문에 어린이들에게 위험을 준다.[9]
