킨스테이크하우스(Keens Steakhouse, 구 킨스 잉글리시 찹 하우스)는 뉴욕시 맨해튼의 의류지구 웨스트 36번가(구 5번가~6번가 사이) 72번지에 위치한 스테이크하우스 레스토랑이다.[1] 이 식당은 5만개가 넘는 점토흡연 파이프를 보관하고 있어 세계에서 가장 큰 소장품 중 하나이다.[2] 양고기 찹으로도 유명하다.

역사

이 식당은 1885년 당시 극장 구역이었던 헤럴드 스퀘어에 앨버트 킨에 의해 설립되었다.[3]

고객들은 운송 중 파손될 위험이 없도록 부서지기 쉬운 점토관을 식당에 보관할 수 있는 기회를 얻었다. 파이프 클럽의 회원 명부에는 9만 명이 넘는 이름이 들어 있었다. 오늘날에는 다음과 같은 유명한 고객들의 파이프가 전시되고 있다.

2013년 자가츠는 26점의 음식 등급을 부여해 의류지구 2위 식당, 뉴욕시 7위 스테이크하우스로 평가했다.[4]

켄스는 올드 홈스테드 스테이크하우스 다음으로 뉴욕에서 두 번째로 오래된 스테이크 하우스다. Keens는 소유권을 변경하고 1979년에 개조를 위해 문을 닫았다.[5] 그것은 새로운 이름으로 다시 문을 열었다.
