Levon Abrahamian
레본 H. 아브라함어(Armenian: լևոնննն;;;;;;;;; 1947년 1월 2일 출생)[1]는 아르메니아의 인류학자 겸 역사가다.
전기와 경력
아브라함은 1947년 1월 2일 소련의 아르메니아 예레반에서 태어났다.[1] 1970년[1][2] 생물물리학 석사(MSU)와 예레반 주립대(YSU)를, 1978년 문화사회인류학과학부 장관후보로 소련과학원 인류학 및 민족학 연구소를 졸업했다.[2] 1978년 소련의 아르메니아 과학 아카데미에서 고고학 및 민족학 연구소에 입사하여 처음에는 1988년까지 부연구원으로 활동하다가 이후 수석연구원으로 활동하였다.[3][1] 2005년에 그는 이 연구소의 현대 인류학 부장을 맡았다.[1][3]
아브라함은 1990년부터 YSU에서 가르쳤다.[4][2] 피츠버그대(1994년), 컬럼비아대(2001년), 캘리포니아대 로스엔젤레스대(2008년), 캘리포니아대 버클리대(1997년, 2015년)에서 초빙교수를 겸임하기도 했다.[2]
2018년 11월 아브라함인은 마테나다란 신탁위원회 회장으로 선출되었다.[2][5]
인식
아브라함ian은 아르메니아 국립과학원(2006)의 해당 회원이다.[1][2] 2009년에 아르메니아 대통령 Serzh Sargsyan은 그에게 문화의 명예로운 일꾼이라는 칭호를 수여했다.[2][6]
연구 및 출판물
아브라함의 인류학 연구는 아르메니아 정체성, 비교 신화, 의식, 도시 인류학, 호주와 오세아니아 문화를 포함한 고대 및 현대 아르메니아와 아르메니아인에 초점을 맞추고 있다.[1][2] 그는 다섯 권의 책과 수많은 논문을 저술했다.[2]

This book is strongly recommended to anyone dealing with issues of changing identity in the post-Soviet space. The simple language of the author makes his research accessible to nonacademics and experts alike and gives the reader a chance to explore the process of post-Soviet transition. Overall, this is a great book that also lays the groundwork for further research on a little explored topic.
