London Orchestra Plays Candy Crush Soda Saga Theme at Abbey Road
A unique new venture for the famed recording studio.
65 musicians gathered at the Abbey Road Studio in London (yes, the same Abbey Road the Beatles named their album after) to create the score for the next game in the Candy Crush series.
"The music we recorded at Abbey Road Studios elevates the players’ experience of Candy Crush Soda Saga, and really brings the game to life." says King composer Johan Holmstrom. "Working with one of the best symphony orchestras in the world to record for the game adds a really organic sound. We hope that as players release the soda, and match those candies, that they thoroughly enjoy hearing the music and sounds recorded with the London Symphony Orchestra."
LSO musician Gareth Davies added, "Having a soundtrack recorded by a group of live musicians will really take Candy Crush Soda Saga to the next level."
Candy Crush Soda Saga recently launched on Facebook; it will soon become available on mobile devices. It offers new features and content over its popular predecessor.
