Unlike most enemies throughout {{TLoZ Series}}, {{Plural|Series|Rope}} have changed relatively little in attack pattern and appearance.

Some variations of {{Plural|Series|Rope}} do exist; {{Plural|Series|Skullrope|link}} appear in {{ALttP}}, {{ALBW}}, and {{TFH}}, while {{Plural|Series|Golden Rope|link}} appear in {{TMC}}.
