PROJECT MANAGEMENT

ZW was awarded the Project Management contract for Phase II of this downtown Ottawa Class A development. Project Management services included: Management of project budget, Management of subcontractors, Schedule, and Providing project updates.

The World Exchange Plaza is located at the centre of the financial core of downtown Ottawa and comprises the entire city block between Queen and Albert Streets and Metcalfe and O’Connor Streets. The property benefits from convenient access to major roadways such as the Queensway, Western Parkway and Nicholas Street, as well as proximity to public transportation. The concourse area contains a number of quality service tenants, in addition to a 500-seat food court. The project involved the addition of the second tower totaling 220,000 sq. ft. of Class A office space and was completed in 2001.
