Description This Glaseado Gym Leader from Paldea keeps a cool head, but when his matches start to heat up, that’s when his passionate side comes out. He used to be a pro snowboarder.

Grusha (Japanese: グルーシャ Grusha) is a Pokémon Trainer in Pokémon Masters EX, based on the character of the same name in the core series games. He forms a sync pair with Cetitan. This pair can be obtained through a Poké Fair sync pair scout beginning on January 22, 2024. This pair can be raised to Masters EX star.png 6★ EX since it first released.

Fear the Snowy Mountain Reduces physical attack move damage taken by allies when the zone is an Ice Zone. Quickly charges the move gauge when the zone is an Ice Zone.
Super Interference 2 Raises the chance of inflicting status conditions—as well as inflicting the flinching, confused, or trapped condition—with the additional effects of the user's moves.
Impervious The user's stats cannot be lowered.
Superawakened Passive Skill
The Sub-zero Shredder Reduces special attack move damage taken by allies when the zone is an Ice Zone. Turns the field of play's zone into an Ice Zone the first time the user's sync move is used each battle. (An Ice Zone powers up Ice-type attacks.) Extends the duration of the Ice Zone when the zone turns into an Ice Zone while the user is on the field.

Trivia

  • Grusha debuted in a background cameo during the last scene of The Electrifying Influencer story event.
  • All versions of Grusha use special voice-over lines upon entering a team that contains certain Trainers (regardless of their partner Pokémon). Those Trainers include Pryce, Brycen, and Geeta.
    • Grusha also uses special voice-over lines upon winning a battle with Brycen or Geeta on the same team.

Origin

Grusha's design is based on his appearance in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Cetitan is one of Grusha's signature Pokémon in the core series games. Cetitan's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Scarlet.
