Squirtle (Japanese: ゼニガメ Zenigame) is a Water-type Basic Pokémon card. It was first released as part of the 151 expansion.
Card text
Flip a coin. If heads, during your opponent's next turn, prevent all damage done to this Pokémon by attacks.

When it feels threatened, it draws its limbs inside its shell and sprays water from its mouth.

Release information
This card was included as a Regular card and a Full Art illustration rare card in the 151 expansion, first released in the Japanese Pokémon Card 151 subset. The Regular print features artwork by kantaro, while the Full Art illustration rare print features artwork by Mitsuhiro Arita. A Reverse Holofoil version of the Regular card with a "Pokémon Center" stamp in the bottom right corner of the artwork was given out as a preorder bonus with 151 products at the online Pokémon Center stores.
The Regular print was included, along with a Full Art print with new artwork by Saboteri, in the Japanese Venusaur & Charizard & Blastoise Special Deck Set ex. The Special Deck Set ex Full Art print was released in Indonesia and Thailand on January 26, 2024, as part of a promo pack available with every purchase of 1 box of the Shiny Treasure ex subset. This Full Art print is later included as an illustration rare card in the English Stellar Crown expansion.
