Adam Swanson’s acrylic painting class is intended for painters of all skill levels. Attendees can explore both group and personal projects, learning techniques such as color mixing, glazing and impasto. With hands-on demonstrations, attendees are prompted to create a piece that fits their style. The registration deadline is Dec. 21. Admission is $190 for Duluth Art Institute members, or $220 for non-members. Attendees must be age 16 or older.

WLSSD has partnered with Duluth Folk School and Duluth Makerspace to host regular events where people can learn how to fix their stuff.
