He retired to Hilandar, Mount Athos as a monk where he, his father and his brothers (excluding Stanisha Kastrioti) resided in the Albanian tower.[2] An inscription at Hilandar, referencing Reposh's death in 1431, suggests that he, and possibly his father Gjon, utilized their adelphates to retire to the tower, where Reposh ultimately spent his final days as a monk.[3][4]
In King Stefan Milutin's narthex, beside the north wall,[5] his tomb bearing the inscription "duks ilirski" (Illyrian duke).[6]
