Français : "Prêtres ou moines chinois", dessinés entre 1655-1657. D'apres Lach et Kley (1993), la personne à l'extreme gauche est un Lama Mongol, au milieu avec le grand chapeau tient en main un "Muyu" (Poisson en Bois). L'homme à droit est un prêtre bouddhiste. Les autres debout sont des moines bouddhistes.
English: "Chinese priests and monks", drawn by the Dutch visitors in 1655-1657. According to Lach & Kley (1993), the leftmost sitting person wears the headgear of a Mongol Lama; the sitting person in the middle, with a big hat, holds a muyu ("wooden fish"). The standing man on the right, with beads, is a Buddhist priest. The other two standing people may be Buddhist monks.
Nederlands: "Sineesche paapen", Chinese monniken of priesters. Links een Mongoolse Lama, de grote hoed in het midden is een bedelaar met een houten vis (of Chinees tempelblok, een klopinstrument) in de hand. Rechts een Boeddhistische priester met kralen. De twee staande mannen kunnen Boeddhistische monniken zijn.
