Samuel Stafura (born November 15, 2004) is an American professional baseball shortstop in the Cincinnati Reds organization.

Amateur career

Stafura grew up in Cortlandt Manor, New York and attended Walter Panas High School.[1] He was named the New York Gatorade Baseball Player of the Year as a senior.[2] Stafura committed to play college baseball at Clemson.[3]

Professional career

Stafura was selected by the Cincinnati Reds with the 43rd overall pick in the 2023 Major League Baseball draft.[4] He signed with the team on July 17, 2023, and received an over-slot signing bonus of $2.497 million.[5]
