Samuel Stafura (born November 15, 2004) is an American professional baseball shortstop in the Cincinnati Reds organization.
Amateur career
[edit]Stafura grew up in Cortlandt Manor, New York and attended Walter Panas High School.[1] He was named the New York Gatorade Baseball Player of the Year as a senior.[2] Stafura committed to play college baseball at Clemson.[3]
Professional career
[edit]Stafura was selected by the Cincinnati Reds with the 43rd overall pick in the 2023 Major League Baseball draft.[4] He signed with the team on July 17, 2023, and received an over-slot signing bonus of $2.497 million.[5]
