I am more familiar with the term "domino run" for these, and Google numbers (I know, I know) agree with me, and also suggest "domino rally". Possible move? If this was a BrE/AmE thing I wouldn't expect Google to agree with me. --IslandHopper 973 18:15, 20 February 2015 (UTC)

Proposed deletion, March 2017
[edit]I have removed a {{proposed deletion}} tag.
This article is far from perfect; it needs a major clean-up and possibly a page move. However, the topic appears notable enough to deserve an article. Domino Day#References provides evidence that the activity has significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject
. Per WP:GNG, that's an argument for at least an AfD process and possibly a straight "keep". I don't think WP:Notability (sports) applies here, as it prescribes thresholds for people and events rather than activities. Certes (talk) 21:05, 15 March 2017 (UTC)
What is a domino?
[edit]At this site and at many Youtube.com sites where "domino toppling" is shown, a domino is a plastic rectangular chip. How-ever, the Wikipedia article on the game of dominoes is more restrictive; "Each domino is a rectangular tile with a line dividing its face into two square ends. Each end is marked with a number of spots (also called pips, nips, or dobs) or is blank. The backs of the dominoes in a set are indistinguishable, either blank or having some common design."Kdammers (talk) 06:06, 29 August 2017 (UTC)
