[edit]Why did he retire at age 28? He only had two poor offensive seasons in a row (see http://www.baseball-reference.com/k/kubekto01.shtml), so I assume he had some kind of serious injury. Can someone post the details?
I discovered that he developed a debilitating back condition that made him retire before his time, but I don't remember the reference. --JimmyTheSaint 21:33, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
Can we mention he's a Hall of Famer now? 70.107.131.133 (talk) 11:54, 27 July 2009 (UTC)
- He's a hall of famer as a BROADCASTER. His "career" was weak - and I'm being nice. He hit 57 home runs in 8 partial years. That's 57 lifetime. He batted .266. These days, he'd be playing AA ball, AAA - max. He would have never made the Show. 73.6.96.168 (talk) 22:48, 28 October 2019 (UTC)
Age

What "Family"?
[edit]He claimed to have retired to spend time with his "family" - yet there is no mention in this article about a spouse, or children or ? One would think it reasonable for a guy who claimed to care about his family so much that he might at least have a mention of his actual family. Right? Did he have one? 73.6.96.168 (talk) 22:53, 28 October 2019 (UTC)
