Information icon Hello, I'm ClaudineChionh. I noticed that you recently removed content from Template:In use/doc without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. I am sorry. I add the template in use. After editing, I want to remove the template in use as required by the guideline. I don't know how to remove it. I found the source page. I thought I should delete the content "template in use". Please forgive me and advice me how to remove the template in use after editing. This is the first time I edit an entry.

Thanks for the explanation. You only needed to remove the template from the page you were editing (Social exclusion), not from the template documentation itself. I see that you have figured that out now, so in future, just be more mindful of what page you're on. If you want to use a template you only need to copy the example from the template documentation; you shouldn't need to edit any template pages.

One more word of advice: Please check whether you are logged in to your account (you should be able to see your username at the top of the screen). It's easy to get logged out accidentally but you can tick the "Stay logged in" box on the login screen. — ClaudineChionh (she/her · talk · contribs · email) 23:32, 20 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
