[edit]Hello, I'm Thewolfchild. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to United States Navy ships have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help Desk. Thanks. - wolf 09:12, 29 October 2018 (UTC)
Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia pages, such as those you made to Littoral combat ship, even if you intend to fix them later. Your edits have been reverted. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you. - wolf 09:14, 29 October 2018 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Armored car (military), you may be blocked from editing. - wolf 10:08, 30 October 2018 (UTC)

- If you want to be unblocked, posting an (unsigned) apology here is not likely to help you. You should read Wikipedia's Guide to Appealling Blocks. Then;
- State that you understand what did wrong,
- that you understand the policies & guidelines involved,
- that you won't repeat your disruptive behaviour or violate any WP policies again,
- that you sincerely apologize,
- and what steps you plan to take to contribute to the project more effectively.
- If you want to be unblocked, posting an (unsigned) apology here is not likely to help you. You should read Wikipedia's Guide to Appealling Blocks. Then;
- You can use the following text to post your unlock request;
Copy the sub-heading and template from the green field and paste it below. Then, in place of where it says "Your reason here", you will instead write out your request to be unblocked, using the five suggestions noted above. Good luck - wolf 06:12, 1 November 2018 (UTC)===Unblock request===

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- Please give examples of the constructive edits you will make.-- Dlohcierekim (talk) 19:26, 1 November 2018 (UTC)
- @Graham87 and Dlohcierekim: JMHO - But looking at Toadington's edits (and I had already reverted some of them and placed notices here), I wouldn't say they appear to be intentional vandalism. They were disruptive, for sure, and but more likely due to WP:CIR issues. It appears their intentions were to be helpful, but they just don't have the 'know-how' to edit properly. If this user wishes to return to editing, perhaps they would consider a mentorship? Over at WP:Adopt-a-user, there are several editors there who are willing to take on adoptees. Just an idea.. - wolf 04:58, 2 November 2018 (UTC)
- @Thewolfchild and Dlohcierekim: Hmmm, I'm not too sure about the chances of success in this case. Graham87 09:11, 2 November 2018 (UTC)

- Before removing them, Toadington asked the questions; "
So how do i get unblocked? or how do i get a mentor?
" - The first is a reasonable question, the second a good question. Initially, as a response to the first question, I would suggest addressing the request Dlohcierekim posed here yesterday; "Please give examples of the constructive edits you will make.
" - I would suggest doing a lot of reading; start by going through all the links contained in the welcome box above. Then pick one, simple area of the project and confine yourself to that area for the next 8 - 12 weeks, and work on improving your basic skills while contributing to that one area. But since the idea of mentor has been raised, and you appear to be receptive to it, then as a suggested response to Dlohcierekim's request and your first question, both noted above, I would suggest that mentoring could be the best (and perhaps only) way to have your block lifted. Hopefully you could find a mentor (the logistics of this would be up to an admin) a mentor willing to take you on, and with that, your block would be removed, but there would be some conditions attached. You would then start to work with your mentor, and follow their guidance, and hopefully through that relationship, you would learn to become more effective contributor. What do you think about this, Toadington? Also, does Dlohcierekim or Graham87 have any thoughts on this? Thanks - wolf 05:16, 3 November 2018 (UTC)
