- Delete. It would be appropriate to add a section to Geology of Auckland Region on the rarity of earthquakes in Auckland [1], and perhaps a redirect from Earthquakes in Auckland to that section. However, the content of this article is not suitable to merge into the geology article as the start of that section.-gadfium 20:49, 2 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete. No damage, no injuries, it's merely WP:NEWS and therefore not notable for an article. DerbyCountyinNZ (Talk Contribs) 21:28, 2 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete per all above comments. Probably news because of our one down here in Chch. -- Alan Liefting (talk) - 00:55, 3 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete - Because it wasn't a major earthquake, I doubt the article will grow, Wikipedia is not a news journal for every world event. SwisterTwister talk 23:15, 5 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
