- Comment. I found a couple of articles in the New York papers and added them to a separate reference section, although I didn't do the work of adding them in-line to reference any part of the article. But I couldn't find anything beyond these two newspaper articles. So this moves them toward notability, but whether it puts them over the line is debatable. I do not have an opinion at this time. - Keep According to Newsday, the Bayside Yankees are a team with national recognition, winning five straight National Amateur Baseball Federation World Series titles from 1993-1997. According to PremierBaseball, the following MLB players started with the Bayside Yankees:
