The result was no consensus. Actually there's a consensus to merge this article but the suggested target does not yet exist. Ron Ritzman (talk) 01:43, 2 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Written asif he is a real person with no out universe content. 2007 it's been tagged since, it's going no where.. plus editors are creating some more character articles. Plus the character is non notable, only recurring and not a regular. RAIN*the*ONE BAM 02:52, 22 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Merge with the other Sharpe series characters into a List of Sharpe series characters (such as the other three under deletion today Sergeant Harris , Michael Hogan (fictional character) , Obadiah Hakeswill ) 65.95.14.96 (talk) 03:54, 22 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Merge per 65. He may be recurring in the novels, but he's a regular in the TV series. Clarityfiend (talk) 06:03, 22 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment - This is a encyclopedia. They can be merged, aslong as the list cites sources for the characters. Otherwise, it has no place.RAIN*the*ONE BAM 22:41, 22 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

- Merge to a list of characters. LoCs are generally accepted for TV/comic/video-game series (like here), so let's not worry about notability but stop the creation of more unsourced plot-only character articles. Any cleanup efforts like trimming or sourcing can then take place in one article-list and isn't spread across a dozen articles. – sgeureka t•c 08:07, 23 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment - Not anymore they are not, anything unsourced is up for discussion. There are guidlines you know. Besides, what you're thinking about is in-universe information not needing to be sourced. But it still needs references to back up encyclopedic info.RAIN*the*ONE BAM 16:12, 23 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Merge all characters in Category:Sharpe characters to "List of Sharpe series characters", as suggested above. Also, you could have put all these articles under one AfD page to avoid splitting discussion. Blake (Talk·Edits) 17:28, 23 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

- Merge His notability has clearly not been established within the 4 years this article has been on the mainspace. A quick google news search here [1] really shows no propensity for significant reception to prove his Notability unless a dedicated editor came to do so, which I have not seen in this entire article's edit history.
