During their three-day trip to our nation's capital, 8th graders had the opportunity to visit significant landmarks such as Arlington Cemetery, the Kennedy Center, the Museum of American History, and the White House, as well as enjoy a special dinner cruise.
Students immersed themselves in a day of engaging stations, each aligned with the five competencies and the powerful theme, 'My Actions, My Impact: Respect Yourself, Respect Others.' They explored activities, from finding tranquility in a calming yoga room to crafting personal journals filled with positive affirmations. The day culminated in a vibrant K-5 photo on the front lawn, with each student receiving a special bag of calming and mindfulness tools.
