You've probably had blackheads claim real estate atop your nose at least once in your life. And you've probably used a pore strip to help banish them. But I bet you've never seen (in microscopic, living color detail) just how the strip rips out the gunk (i.e., dirt, oil, debris) right out of your pores. Luckily, there's a video for that. And like most gory, graphic, and slightly horrifying pimple-popping videos on the web (thanks, Dr. Pimple Popper), this one's gone viral and has been circulating on Reddit ever since.
The five-minute pore strip removal video in question, which has racked up more than 1.8 million views on YouTube since its origin in July 2016, is a slow-motion, close-up view of a seemingly black pore strip (perhaps of the charcoal variety?) extracting a blackhead out of a clogged pore on the tip of the someone's nose. And just like cyst-popping clips that have come before it, the conclusion of this video is quite satisfying—you know, to those who get a kick out of watching things get popped (hey, no judgment here)—as the blackhead is completely removed from the pore, leaving behind a little residue and a now-clean extraction zone. Whew!
