2010. Went to check out the flooding. When I first entered the park, I saw one of these beautiful birds and on the way out, was lucky enough to see two. Unfortunately, I couldn't get close to them.

I was able to take so many pictures. I was in my son's car taking the pictures out of the passenger side window. It didn't even fly away when I rolled the window down. 2010.
These before photos were taken with a 3.1 megapixel camera. Found them in our picture box and scanned them in.
We used to walk across the Kinzua Bridge every year. Looking down thru the cracks always made me nervous, but it was still the highlight of our camping trips. Sorry we won't ever be able to do it again.

2010. This blue heron blends right into the log it's standing on. Plenty of people who hiked to the top of Dingmans Falls didn't even notice it was there.

2010. When we first reached the top of Dingmans Falls, I looked across the stream to see this blue heron sunning itself. How odd it looks.
2010. I watched this bird for about 15 minutes and sat times, it looked like it was panting, and other times it looked like it was trying to swallow a fish that was just a little too big
