Q:  What is REVELXP?

A:  Arkansas State entered a partnership with REVELXP prior to the 2022 football season to provide new and enhanced, full-service tailgating options inside Tailgate City for fans on game days.  A-State is one of over 75 professional organizations and collegiate programs partnering with REVELXP, including Memphis, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Kansas, Kentucky, Texas A&M and Baylor, to name a few.  The partnership not only provides fans with turnkey tailgating options, but also allows A-State Athletics to allocate staff previously dedicated to Tailgate City to other areas of need, including parking and overall game day enhancements.  Fans can learn more about REVELXP and their services by visiting Revelxp.com/Arkansas-State.

Q:  How do I purchase a tailgating space(s) located in Tailgate City?

A:  Fans can purchase a tailgate plot(s) inside Tailgate City by visiting Revelxp.com/Arkansas-State, e-mailing Trey Edwards at [email protected] or calling 870-495-2335.  There are multiple options available, starting at just $100 for individual 10’x10’ plots.  The additional packages include the Varsity, Letterman and Club levels, which range in plot sizes from 10’x10’ to 20’x40’ and include various amenities and add-ons.

Q:  Can anyone purchase a plot in Tailgate City?

A:  Yes, there are no restrictions attached to who can purchase a tailgating space in Tailgate City.

Q:  Can I purchase a plot only in Tailgate City and bring my own tent, tables, chairs, etc.?

A:  Yes.  Individual 10’x10’ plots can be purchased for just $100 per game.  If a larger area is desired, multiple individual plots may be purchased next to one another to increase the available space.  This option allows fans to coordinate their entire set up.

Q:  What is the Tailgate City footprint?

A:  Tailgate City comprises the grass area located to the west of Centennial Bank Stadium between the press box and Pavilion parking lot.  It also spans north-south between A Street and the Campus Lake located next to the Pavilion.  The grass areas east of the sidewalk that runs next to the Campus Lake are not part of Tailgate City.

Q:  Are there any free tailgating areas available on game day?

A:  Yes.  The only paid tailgating area on the Arkansas State University campus is Tailgate City.  Fans have the ability to set up their own tailgating area anywhere else on campus as long as it doesn’t restrict the flow of traffic in parking lots/areas.  Fans can visit tour.astate.edu to view a campus map that shows potential free tailgating areas located either in a parking lot or next to various parking areas.

Q:  Can I bring my own grill into Tailgate City?

A:  Yes.  Anyone who purchases a plot(s) in Tailgate City can bring their own personal grill or smoker, including a smoker trailer.  The only requirement is the grill/smoker must be able to fit on the purchased plot.  There are different plot sizes available for purchase, ranging from as small as 10’x10’ to 20’x40’

Q:  If I choose to have someone cater my tailgate, are there any limitations regarding who can provide the catering?

A:  No.  Those who have a plot(s) in Tailgate City are free to have any catering service provide food for their tailgate.  The catered food may be brought in by either the tailgate party or the catering service itself.  If an outside vendor is catering the tailgate and requires a parking pass, the parking pass will need to be purchased through REVELXP.  All catering services must be contained to the tailgate plot(s) area.

Q:  Besides personal grills and catering services, are there any other food options available in Tailgate City?

A:  Yes.  New this year to Tailgate City are four food trucks/vendors, including Ray’s Rump Shack and Ohana Hawaiian Snow.  They are located on the north side of Tailgate City near the Hijinx Kids Zone and A Street.  The food trucks/vendors are available to all fans, regardless of whether they have purchased tailgating space in Tailgate City. Food trucks open four hours prior to kickoff and are available all the way up to kickoff.

A:  Fans who choose to secure a tailgate space(s) in Tailgate City have the option to purchase one $100 parking pass per game to the Pavilion (Orange) parking lot located next to Tailgate City.  Parking passes are limited to one per Tailgate plot/space.

Q:  If I don’t have a parking pass located near Tailgate City, when and where can I drop off items and set up my tailgate space in Tailgate City?

A:  Fans have the ability to access the Platinum and Orange parking lots to drop off tailgating items on game days until 1:00 p.m. for a 6:00 p.m. kickoff and 9:00 a.m. for 2:00 p.m. kickoff.  All smoker trailers need to be in place the night before the game.
