The president last night accepted an invitation from Charles, delivered by Sir Keir Starmer, to make an unprecedented second state visit to the UK. Trump has already been feted once with a grand state visit to the UK, hosted by the late Queen in 2019. But the president also revealed separately said he would be visiting the UK in the 'near future'. The King's letter, which Trump displayed to reporters in the Oval Office, suggested he could drop in at Balmoral or Dumfries House to discuss plans for the future state visit should he be visiting either of his Scottish golf courses.

Comedian Mindy Kaling has revealed that she feels a 'little guilty' about the fact that she often throws 'cheap' birthday parties for her kids - just days after it was revealed that she will appear on Meghan Markle's Netflix show for an episode about children's soirees. Kaling, 45, is mom to three kids - daughters Katherine Swati, seven, Anne, one, and son Spencer Avu, four. The Mindy Project star has never publicly identified the identity of her children's father, but many have speculated that it's actor BJ Novak, who she gave a shoutout to this month as she received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Meghan Markle has posted a behind the scenes clip of her new Netflix lifestyle show ahead of its launch - before the footage was mysteriously deleted then reposted. The Duchess of Sussex 's new show is set to be released next Tuesday having been delayed from its initial premiere date of January 15 due to the California wildfires. Yesterday, the Duchess shared a 'backstage video' from 'With Love, Meghan' on her newly-launched Instagram account before the video was seemingly taken down. The 14-second clip featured a short cameo from her husband Prince Harry , and the couple's beloved beagle Guy - whose death was revealed by Meghan last month. In the video, the Duchess can be seen showing off her dance moves and sharing lighthearted moments with crew members and some of the guests who will feature. After it was deleted, the short clip was reposted on X before a seemingly identical version of the teaser was later reuploaded to her social media without explanation. Meghan, 43, wrote: 'Six more days until our show launches on @netflix! Celebrating the crew and everyone who helped make this happen! The countdown begins.'

A top Hollywood talent agency has denied it has dropped Meghan Markle after months of speculation.  The Duchess of Sussex, 43, signed with the William Morris Endeavor (WME) in 2023 - a power agency that also boasts clients including Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and her friend Serena Williams.  But in recent months, rumours have circulated that the relationship has soured, with insiders telling PageSix that Meghan has even been 'let go' because she was 'too demanding' and 'difficult to work with'. The newspaper reported that Meghan has not held any meetings with the agency's biggest boss, Ari Emanuel (right), since January last year.

Pamela Anderson 's new cooking show launches this week to much fanfare online - but some viewers have been left outraged on the Hollywood icon's behalf after spotting the similarities between the trailers for her series and Meghan Markle's. Last month, the Duchess of Sussex announced her lifestyle series, 'With Love, Meghan', which will be released on Netflix on March 4, after it was postponed from January due to the LA wildfires. A trailer for the programme showed Meghan, 43, inviting friends and famous guests to a California estate where she shares cooking, gardening and hosting tips. But eagle-eyed viewers have since noticed how the Duchess' teaser seems very similar to Pamela's show, Cooking With Love. Critics claim the mother-of-two's trailer seems to be a 'straight copy' of the Baywatch star's promotional video for her lifestyle programme, which was released in October 2024. From the similar aesthetic, titles and wardrobes to the familiar phrases and actions, frustrated fans took to X to point out all the ways in which they believe Meghan appears to have 'copied' Pamela's concepts.

The former press secretary, who was dubbed one of William's 'close confidantes', revealed he was one of the very first people to know the details of Charlotte's birth on May 2, 2015 (left). The Australian channel claimed that Mr Knauf was told about the arrival of the couple's only daughter even before their families found out the happy news. Painting a picture of the scene at the time, he said: 'You have hundreds and hundreds of journalists and photographers from all over the world that arrived in London, camping outside trying to get their spot.'

The Princess of Wales will join her husband and King Charles for 80th anniversary of VE Day in May this year. Kate Middleton, 43, who has been gradually making a return to public duties following cancer treatment, will make an appearance at the event which commemorates our war heroes, the Mirror has reported. The monarch, 76, will lead a host of royals, including his wife Queen Camilla and the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh at a 'special Service of Thanksgiving at Westminster Abbey'.

Queen Camilla appeared in great spirits on Tuesday as she attended a reception for the National Theatre at Buckingham Palace in London. This afternoon, the royal couple posted three examples of their children (inset)'s recent works on their official X account to publicise the Princess of Wales' ongoing Shaping Us initiative. The post read: 'The Early Childhood Shaping Us Framework describes the social and emotional skills which start to develop in early childhood. It also featured sketch of the Princess of Wales sitting in an armchair, which was drawn by Prince George (right). He was once a frequent visitor the Swiss Alps at this time of year for family ski trips, often enjoying going down the slopes with his sons. But King Charles III has revealed his skiing days are behind him when he chatted to a Swiss engineer during a trip to a wind turbine factory in Middlesbrough. The monarch was speaking to Avzi Jusufi yesterday during a 'royal away day' as he visited the SeAH Wind plant which manufactures 400ft long turbine bases. The King, 76, was shown a calibration roll machine which smooths the bend steel sheets into perfect cylinders as part of the manufacturing process. Mr Jusufi and Charles spoke about his native Switzerland and the mountains, according to the engineer who is working on installing the equipment.

Insiders have revealed the real reason why Donald Trump no longer plans to kick Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle out of the US. The President declared last week that he would not seek to deport the Duke amid an ongoing legal battle over his immigration status, despite having previously suggested he might do so. 'I don't want to do that,' Mr Trump told the New York Post. 'I'll leave him alone. He's got enough problems with his wife. She's terrible.' But, while the President's swipe at Meghan was in keeping with his previous remarks about the Duchess, it is supposedly not driving force behind his decision.

Harry's sighs of relief at Donald Trump 's confirmation that he won't be deported, even if his visa application is inaccurate, could be short-lived. For if the document is made public and found to be less than an unrestricted 'A-1 Head of State Visa' Harry will have to apply for US citizenship. In such instances his past drug use, as detailed freely in his memoir, is likely to be a major obstacle.Another uncertainty is the mercurial Trump himself. He could simply cancel Harry's visa or change his mind on deporting the prince. Should he and Meghan start packing for Canada ?

Harry and Meghan put on a public display of affection at the Invictus Games at the weekend - hours after Donald Trump took a swipe at their marriage. The couple could not keep their hands off each other at the opening ceremony of the contest for injured veterans in Vancouver, Canada. Meghan, 43, dressed in a £2,400 ivory maxi trench coat made from baby alpaca wool by Sentaler, was seen resting her head on Harry's shoulder. Their loving appearance followed the US President's comments in which he dismissed calls for Harry's deportation amid controversy over his visa. 'I don't want to do that,' Mr Trump told the New York Post. 'I'll leave him alone. He's got enough problems with his wife. She's terrible.'

Meghan Markle hinted at 'walking into a very important meeting' on her Instagram story while sharing behind-the-scenes footage of the Invictus Games ceremony.  She joined her husband for the seventh edition of the games, which he founded in 2014. The nine-day sporting event - created by Prince Harry in 2014 for wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women - will see more than 500 competitors from 23 countries come together.
