The position of ( Full Time ) Safety & Security Enforcment Officer ( SSO) / Event Technician consists of working in a duel compacity depending on needs of the mission on the MOAS campus. When needed, and directed by the Chief Of Security you will assist the MOAS Special Events Department with event set-ups and breakdowns of tables, chairs and other items used during the events. Members of the guest relations team ensure that all visitors are attended to in a timely manner and are given proper instruction that enhances their visit to the Museum, which includes (but is not limited to) answering inquiries, resolving complaints, providing information about programs, services and exhibitions.
This position operates a Point-of-Sale system and is responsible for the safe and accurate handling of cash, credit cards and all forms of payment at the service desk, gift shop and after-hours museum programming. The guest relations associate is expected to work some holidays, evenings, and weekends. The chosen candidate must learn Altru database software, as it is essential to this role.
