Many thanks to all those budding graphics guru's that took the time to send in their work as part of our Mod of the Year logo competition that kicked off last month. We had an amazing response from the community with a great array of logos sent in. Here are the entries:
We are keeping the winning logo under wrap for the time being and looking forward to revealing it, in our Mod of the Year kickoff come December 1st, be sure to keep an eye out and thanks again to everyone who participated!

To be honest I would not want to have any of these logos represent moty. They are all very uninspiring and some even feel plain out cheaply made. I hoped for interesting entries but that kinda disappoints be on the full line. :/
Why didn't you make a logo by yourself then, if you're that of a professional logo designer? You seem to have really good ideas in your brain at least after finding all the entrances that much disappointing.
Wouldn't he have to be trained in graphics design or something to do that? Asking someone to do something **** would only contribute to the problem hes outlining... Personally I like most of them.
To meet his standards we all would have to be trained in graphics design and so as he obviously knows better how a good logo should look like, he can try himself to make the logo of his great design vision in the very next year ;)

Hes entitled to that opinion, that doesn't mean that he has the right set of skills and knowledge to make something that meets his standards.

That doesn't mean that hes capable of doing a great logo.
I think you should take a page from the joke 'everyones a critic'. Because anyone can have a opinion on whats good and bad without needing any qualifications to voice it, because that something doesn't fulfill its pragmatic use or goal, or subjective stuff like it instills the wrong emotions, has wrong colours, images etc
What does his ability have anything to do with whether he likes the entries or not? Perhaps instead of attacking him personally you should have asked for clarification as to what about them look cheap?
These people have put many efforts into making logos in their spare time and none of them is a professional logo designer.
It's not about art critiques, it's just about not being a ****.
