*You notice Monty always jets to Midland, while Tommy always drives 5 hours. In reality a guy of Tommy' stature would probably fly at least commercial into DFW or likely private into Lake Worth. A guy of his value is not to be wasted driving five hours. But it's a plot device designed to show...

Alright, I finished it today on a rain day and I really think the show was solid start to finish. It certainly left itself for a second season and could be a really good second season....

When I saw the guy pop up I wasn't sure what to think. It could have gone with an over the top middle eastern accent or over the top Canadian accent....
I've dealt with State Farm and they don't need the excuse of bad government to be shitty
It isn't just State Farm. I have Country Financial and after Michael hit I had to have a roof and CF offered me like 4k to have half my roof replaced and half repaired. Every roofer I talked ...
SIAP: Day of the Jackal - spoilers

I started it up last week and have a few episodes left. I couldn't find a thread on it here so I was wondering what the boards opinions were.
I have enjoyed it, I think it is a pretty solid show, like a 7 or an 8. It isn't exceptional in any way but it have good value to it.
It definitely po...

If anyone is looking for a conspiracy theory on it, call this one the great displacement. Burn them out to get them to move to cheaper states (red) and they will still vote Blue because they are too dumb to figure out they caused the problems....

the part I can't wrap my head around is them saying someone has to fill the hydrants over and over again. Our hydrants run off the basic water s...

The color is the least of my worries on my windows honestly. I was doing just a plain white anyway. I was looking at nicer c...
I had my windows replaced with vinyl windows from Wincore (if I remember correctly). They function very well. No complaints in the 7 or 8 years they’ve been in.
And this has been my biggest question was that my experience from a house that remodeled 20 years ago, just that, a bad e...

questions on windows for a new build.
Posted by Warfarer on 1/1/25 at 5:04 pm
I am currently beginning the process of building a new house. I have quotes for the framing package, I've started digging the footers and I have a bunch of other quotes. One thing I always heard was don't cheap on windows and doors. I have quoted a builder grade double hung vinyl window set and a...

this is the path. add her as a additional card holder and she gets the credit from that card. Unfortunately, she wouldn't be paying the bill on it.
Add her to an older card too.
Then when she gets some credit built up off of it, let her choose a credit card that she actually wants and is a g...

I finally watched the last four episodes last night and man this show has been solid start to finish so far. I really think this will be a show worth a rewatch like Ted Lasso. Apple TV might have the best line up of quality shows in every genre going right now.

At what point in your life does this kind of behavior start? I have no idea what leads to this point where the woman is screaming at people like that and at what point does a man start throwing fists at the second woman?
Don't get me wrong, the woman throwing shite at me might have me hitting her...

Heater core is tough as you have to tear apart the dash to get to it
On a newer vehicle, as a diyer, auto transmission is way up there because you need a lot of space to lay everything out.
Bad grounds are tough too as one bad spot can throw off a lot of things. ...

I had a 99 that I loved. I am able to work on stuff myself so that helps. I got rid of it because the transmission was starting to act up but I’m not as concerned about this one in terms of putting money into it and having it down for issues. ...
