The Castle #1

Amidst seven mountains touching the sky, the heart of the place is a ravishing lake showering its beauty with pristine and stagnant water.�Naini Lake�is divided into two parts Mallital and Tallital. The north end of the Lake is called Mallital and the southern end of the Lake is known as Tallital. Both ends of the Naini Lake have shopping centers' with luxury and varied shops.

Kothi #2

Kothi is located at a distance of 16 km from Manali, on the way to Lahaul-Spiti-Leh highway. The village of Kothi forms the bottom of the Rohtang Pass. From the gorge, tourists can avail the views of the deep gorge, and the River Beas rushing through it. The Kothi Gorge lies at a distance of 16 km from Manali, at an elevation of 2,500 metres.

Rohtang Pass #3

Rohtang Pass, (altitude 3,978 m or 13,051 ft), is a high mountain pass on the eastern Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas around 51 km (32 mi) from Manali. It connects the Kullu Valley with the Lahaul and Spiti Valleys of Himachal Pradesh, India.

Solang Valley #4

Solang Valley, popular as a picnic spot, has a 300 metre high ski lift, which is well known amongst skiers. Known as Snow Point, it is located between Beas Kund and Solang Village.At the valley, tourists can enjoy varied activities like horse riding, paragliding, skiing and zorbing. An annual winter skiing festival is held every year. On the top of the hill, a shrine of Lord Shiva is located.

Hadimba Temple #5

The Hadimba Temple is an ancient cave temple dedicated to Hadimba Devi, sister of Hadimb, who was a character in the Mahabharata. Goddess Hadimba was the sister of the demon Hadimb who ruled the mountains and was feared by all.Situated at the foot of the Himalayas, the temple is surrounded by a cedar forest. Dating back to 1553, the temple is built over a huge rock jutting out of the ground, which was worshipped as an image of the deity.

Old Manali #6

Old Manali is famous for its orchards and old guesthouses. At a distance of 3 km from the main town, the ruined fort of Manaligarh is located. In this region, tourists can also find the Manu Maharishi Temple, dedicated to sage Manu.

Jagatsukh #7

Jagatsukh, located at a distance of 6 km from Manali, is the erstwhile capital of Kullu. An ancient Shiva Temple, built in the 'shikhara' style is the prominent highlight of the village. A small shrine of Gauri Shankar and the chalet-roofed temple dedicated to Goddess Sandhya Devi are some of the numerous old temples that dot the village.

River Beas #8

The Beas River is a river in the northern part of India. The river rises in the Himalayas in central Himachal Pradesh, India, and flows for some 470 km (290 miles) to the Sutlej River in the Indian state of Punjab.

Malana #9

Malana is located below the Chanderkhani Pass. The hamlet comprises a small cluster of around 200 stone roof houses. The temple of Jamlu, dedicated to the spirit of village God Jamlu, is a highlight of the village.

Nehru Kund #10

Nehru Kund is a natural spring in the region. Located at a distance of around 6 km from Manali, it has been named after the late Prime Minister Jawahar Lal Nehru. The Kund has derived its name from Nehru, as he used to drink water from it, on his journey to Manali. The Kund is located on the Manali-Keylong Road.

Van Vihar National Park #11

Van Vihar National Park in Manali is visited by many locals and tourists. The park located on the mall road, opposite the Tibetan market has many huge deodar trees giving cool shade to the area.Van Vihar Park is a favourite picnic spot for the whole family. Wooden and cement benches are provided throughout the park where one can sit and relax. 

Manu Temple #12
