Basically, it is an action anime about the classic anime hairstyle we know as twintails. Everything revolves around it, almost to an annoying level, but that's exactly the point. The nonsensical plot, the characters, which are still likeable and fun, and the comedy, which is frankly a hit or miss, are all about the art of twintails. It it also a gender-bender anime, being similar to Kampfer in that aspect. Personally, I had fun watching the series, and I also like twintails quite a lot, so it was fine for me, but clearly, the sheer silliness this anime has to offer can make many people quickly dismiss this one off.
In short, if you like twintails and would like to see what essentially amounts to red and blue warrior versions of Hatsune Miku (both of them resembling the colourful flat-chested twintailer virtual idol) fight against perverted aliens, then this is for you. For others, go check it out if you are looking for silly, over the top comedy.

Quoting tootbrush, Oretwi "is like a Nyaruko-san spiritual successor I didn't know I wanted." It's easy to see that Oretwi draws heavy inspiration from the kind of humor in Nyaruko-san, and there are countless themes and elements in common as well. This anime is odd with aliens trying to get rid of girls' twin-tail hairstyles and a guy transforms into a girl to fight those aliens. The comedy and the perverted scientist were funny. If you enjoy perverted comedy and a bizarre plot, this may be for you.

Not exceptionally great, nor exceptionally aweful. Fights are short and sweet (so if that is your thing stay away) Beside the strangeness it's pretty fun to watch though.

Its an absolute nonsense.
But i still loved the hell out of it. I'm sure that this show won't be everyone's cup of tea, but i think despite its awful premise, its a well built series, with good characters and humor.
But since it does'nt take itself seriously, DO NOT TAKE IT SERIOUSLY if you wan't to enjoy it...

First impression: Reminds me of Wonder Momo. Dis-engage the mind. Sit back and watch the show. I expect to see every slapstick device used. Thank-god this is only once a week. I could not handle being dis-engaged more than once a week. Healthy dose of mind numbing entertainment.
