Whenever I think the world supply of excellent anime is dying out, something like Haikyuu!! Second Season comes along to renew my faith in Being.
Orders of magnitude better than its excellent prequel, Haikyuu!! Second Season addresses questions that every person who has met with themselves must ask. The sequel traverses the dead-ends, marshes, and backwaters of "the land inside of your mind" that other series barely touch, if at all.
An absolute must-see, but watch it after having watched Hajime no Ippo, Initial D, Whistle!, and Haikyuu! First Season. Recommended especially for those "(Sittin' On) The Dock of the Bay". Watch this last and let it set you on fire.

Even better than the already good first season. It carries on the same tone and themes, but with more exciting matches and more time spent on calm characer development, just a way better balance this time around.
It's also a bit more formulaic, but so well executed I couldn't find myself caring. All the goods points from last season still stand, so if you liked that, don't hesitate, watch!

This second season didn't disappoint either - it got even a notch better thanks to the various other teams. It's still very addictive and I have to move on to the new season!

A serious, huge improvement from season 1. The latter was already good but this season is truly amazing, with better character developpement, more intense matches and showing a lot of breathtaking actions. The last two matches especially are both gorgeous in the animation and intense enough to make you shiver. Once again it starts a bit slow (though the first episode is realy refreshing) but from episode 10 it never stops being amazing. Highly recommanded to all of you who are interested in sports anime !

This season continued on with the theme from season 1. There is a tremendous amount of growth in the characters, as well as a tremendous amount of tension in the series.
The overlying tone of intense competition gets addled with quick witted remarks and humorous jabs throughout the whole series. At no point will you sit there going, "God this is boring." There is always something going on in this series that will keep you hooked.
Frankly, this series is as close to a volleyball masterpiece as you can find.
Watch it, watch the prequel, and I will certainly be watching the sequel.
