Better in every aspect compared to the first two episodes of the OVA. Animation, storylines, storytelling and characters that are less stiff and have some life in them.
It may be sensible to skip those first two episodes and make this movie the starting point for people that want to get into the OVA.

Basically the battle of Astate which take place at the beginning of LoGH .Watching this you will understand what happened in that magnificent battle.
