Wasn't sure how well the movie format would work, but it gave the plot much more focus and urgency, befitting the theme: the final steps of growing up,
Looks stunningly beautiful, fantastic direction; subtle, believable character work, a great ending to the series.

I gave the 1st season a 7.9, S2 a 7, but this only gets a 5.
I liked the big sister, but I really hated the character she played in this, a person with impossible/limitless means, pulling out the perfect blackmail material out of thin air, lying to them, forcing their friends to betray them, all to do what ? Force the MC's along ? I absolutely hate this "i'm gonna bully you to help you" character and mentality.
I'm really disappointed in the way this ended, I'm sure a lot of people could have come up with a way better ending, i almost prefer they never made this movie, then i could have just imagined how it ended and it sure as hell would have been better.
As for tying up loose ends, meh, the first one should have been resolved in S2, but no, they had to get interrupted a 2nd time, as for the 2nd one, that would have happened sooner or later anyway, but instead of showing them maturing to that point (like Yuuta kept insisting), they were forced to (without maturing).

I am so glad they came through and made a final movie to bring the series into a full circle. This is basically a cute road trip/ chase between our sweet Rikka and Yuta with a beautiful conclusion. Don't get super excited as you won't see something you are not expecting to happen but that's exactly why this is good; I wanted this to happen and it finally did.

This movie continues the relationship between Rikka & Yuuta and while there are some funny moments throughout, this movie does a nice job wrapping up loose ends from the previous season.
