This season feels a little drawn out, a lot of the action and progression felt well over the top and though it's unrealistic it also crossed into being unbelievable. It's an overall nice conclusion but everything finished they way anyone would expect of a PG series and because of that predictability wasn't that interesting to watch. The epilogue was cute but too short would have loved to see how the relationships developed, but i guess that's not what this series was primarily about.
This series is meant to answer all the questions, any remaining unanswered question that you might have had about the characters or the world everything is bundled into this series.

After many years, filler and main episodes, Fairy Tail concludes. This season picks up right after the previous season. While it was cool to see new adventures, this latest season is more of the same... defeat "the new bad guy". This entire franchise could've cut out at least 100+ episodes to not make this needlessly drawn out. The ending was ok, was expecting a bit more in terms of wrapping up relationships. Overall, this season and franchise is entertaining that has touching moments, good music, action, fights, speeches, magic, fantasy, fanservice and more, but overstayed its welcome.

So was it a trashy shounen? You bet. But I don't know why it always made me shed a mantear or two. Maybe it's been a long journey, I somehow grew fond of all its vibrant characters, felt their struggle and adventures, shared their crazy comedic antics, feasted upon the bountiful and yet recycled fanservice. Maybe its tbe bgm, the OP and ED tracks. This series has made me self reflect on lesson like forgiveness, cherishing your happy moment and what you have. Yea that was a journey.
