Ridiculously over-the-top and zany. If you can get over the fact that it doesn't take itself too seriously you'll have a blast. Even those who aren't Batman fans can find enjoyment in it

It was cool at first, then not too bad actually and finally "Nanja korya!!!"

It was actually pretty good. Production quality was top notch. Of course the fight scene were fantastic, the beautiful character design, the scenery and backdrops and how everything blended nicely into ancient Japan. I would say its a well done mix mess between Gotham and Ancient Japan. It has a decent enough story flow.

Though please watch it without question how things works, because it will come a point that you will scream nanja korya!! when things don't make much sense. It does have loads of characters (villains and heroes alike) but most remained cameo at best (like most Hollywood movies), without much screen time and development.

All in, its a recommended watch just for the action and the quintessential representation of Batman in anime form of ancient Japan. 6/10 for me.

Seeing Batman in ancient Japan was cool, along with his comrades and villains. The art style is unique, although there were times where this movie went over-the-top. If you want to see a different take for Batman, this is an entertaining watch.
