Cardinal-clone with a slight setting adjustment would be perfectly capable of operating a drone and blowing people up. Just list enemy combatants as factors preventing achieving desired level of stability, and you can enjoy Skynet-Online.
2. You have a special super-duper-world with super-duper-interfaces with special protocols, but somehow bad guys are able to summon in the game a bunch of losers from around the world, because every loser in just one-two hours can build a copy of your super-duper-interface from sticks, rocks and bodily fluids.
was it really that hard to hire an actual technical consultant?

After coming off a mediocre last season, I was expecting more of the same, but this season was enjoyable as it focuses on the light and dark territories finally clashing. As always, the animation is superb, music was solid and characters are likeable. Hopefully the 2nd half of this season can stick the landing.

Sword Art Online: Alicization - War of Underworld part 1!!! Introducing potato Kirito! Jokes aside this was an overall good season. It is weird comment on this as a separate season and would normally avoid doing that however I feel there is an element that was done very well in the first part: Build up!
We all knew the war was coming and which the main faces of that would be but it is refreshing to see an a couple of episodes actually portraying the build up to the end attempting to make it, make sense.
Top notch animation, good mix of extra light comedy and amazing battle sequences...

Polished as always, less focus on Kirito and more to the others. Too bad the best part is in the next season. For this reason:

hm.... have a mixed feeling on this season. If you are not a fan of SAO, I would strongly recommend you to wait for the 2nd part (remaining of arc) to come out before watching this. For the whole season till 2nd last episode, it talks about other characters. I found it dragging, but it starts to get cool again on the last two episodes, then it ends and have to wait again.
