Surprisingly restrained and down to earth in its world building and characters.
Turns out war is complicated, and age-old conflicts can't be easily resolved, even if you're in love, and I respect the show for acknolwedging that instead of just regurgitating tropes.
That's not to say there are not tropes, but at least it's not all there is.
Plot progresses very slowly, not much has changed by the end, not to mention all the cliffhangers.
Nothing outstanding, but no real complaints either, Just an ok genre show.
Both anime are Romeo and Juliet themed.
Two sides of people are fighting/feud with disagreement and don't like the opposite side.
Main characters from opposite fight for their right to together.
