Pretty average sports anime. Cast is kinda dumb, all characters have exactly ONE personnality trait each and that's all. It kinda lacks some infodump about the actual sport as well.
But the few choreographies are, simply, amazing. If the cast was just a bit better, this anime would work so well, what a shame ! If you're a fan of sports anime with boys, you may give it a try, but there truly are some far better ones out there.

Watching this after Taisou Zamurai would give you a clear idea that this is a better gymnastic anime, but a far worse anime. It's clearly trying to be mildly informative, but nothing much in itself. So watch this if you're interested in the theme.
If you're a fan of mundane SoL, this would be a nice watch for you, otherwise don't expect comedy or major progression. Also expect a lot of cheese.

The CG characters used during the performances are some of the best I've seen - perfectly blended with the traditional animation. This Anime isn't Free or Yuri on Ice good, but in terms of visuals it's up there.
Other than the grade A animation, it's pretty average all the way around. It has a decent story with decent characters, okay music, and a nice amount of levity. Not really for anyone who isn't specifically looking for another male-oriented sports drama to fill time.
